Annette was a pleasure and made sure all our needs were met. She even made a special effort to bring us some bottled water before our departure, loaded all our belongings in the car, and pulled it to the front entrance before we had requested. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely, modern hotel located in Homewood, a suburb in Birmingham. Recently built on the small main road which has plenty of shops and small businesses. The restaurant has a lovely bar and the food is delicious. Plenty of special cocktails! My filet mignon was well-prepared, as were the crab cakes. There’s a nice outdoor space for dining and drinks.

Valley Hotel is my #1 pick of hotels in the Birmingham area. Homewood is a quaint area with great shopping and restaurants. The Terrace on the 2nd floor at the hotel is a great place to end your day. Annette in valet and Adriane at the front desk were both fantastic. Highly recommend!!!

I had a lovely stay at the Valley Hilton in Birmingham. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. Annette at the valet station was extremely accommodating and generous. She went above and beyond to ensure my needs were taken care of. I had a dinner at the Ironwood restaurant in the hotel and Matthew and Emma at the bar were fabulous and I had a wonderful experience.

Love this property! We had business on Highland and it was very convenient. The psrking was easy. We were greeted cordially. The room was very comfortable. The shower was great. We would definitely stay there again. We didn’t eat there, but the breakfast area in the morning smelled delightful. The pastries looked awesome, as well.

Beautiful hotel well located. Very nicely appointed rooms. Extremely comfortable. Huge bar great food. Everything but maid service!?? I have never stayed at a hotel where the maid did not make the bed and/or replace a used coffee cup. poor room cleaning so be sure to ask if they will clean your room and replace towels?

The staff is amazing! Jay helped every single time I needed assistance with our luggage! The food is also incredible at the restaurant and the breakfast cafe downstairs. Rooms are spacious and luxurious

What a fun hotel, the bar was fantastic, the staff very accommodating! It was our wedding weekend and we booked many rooms in the hotel. The staff was on top of service and got everyone checked in timely.

We loved our stay here. Upon arrival Roderick greeted us with a big smile and welcomed us like family. We made our way to check in and everything was seamless and the lobby was very nice. The coffee smells amazing in the lobby. Our room was clean and very nice as well. We left for supper and when we returned Roderick was there to greet us by name!! Very impressive. We have a daughter starting college nearby in the fall and I can say this will without a doubt be our go to place while in Birmingham. 5stars
I love this hotel! The stay was amazing! Gene the bell man was so professional and nice. Allan located in the Ironwood restaurant was SO SWEET! Like fr! Myiesha the house keeper and our server Stanesha was also very sweet. The only issue or drawback was the room phone didn’t work and there was no iron in the room only a steamer. But we called for an iron and it was okay after that. The room was very clean and the decor of the hotel had a vintage modern edge. I used the fitness center in the morning and it was nice. Wished they had yoga mats. Overall I loved the hotel!!! Very impressed!

Our recent stay at The Valley Hotel was wonderful. The hotel facility is gorgeous with an open and inviting lobby, a wonderful coffee shop and a top-rated restaurant. The hotel room was absolutely spotless and one of the cleanest I've ever experienced. But what truly sets this hotel apart from all others is the warm, friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Upon our arrival, Alex greeted us at the front desk. Her helpfulness and friendly manner was exemplary of our every interaction with all the staff at The Valley. Gene, the bellman, was as delightful as he was helpful! Thank you, Valley Hotel, for a perfect, relaxing and joyful stay. We look forward to seeing you again, soon!

Beautiful, modern hotel in a safe, vibrant location. So many restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Even Edgar's Bakery is next door!! Front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Would return on our next visit for sure!

Valley Hotel is our new "go to" in Birmingham. Small, stylish, well-located, amazing staff, beautiful facilities - it has it all. We were Grand Bohemian fans for years, but that hotel suffers from service issues (in all areas including food/beverage) and rooms being outdated. Plus, their rates are ridiculous for Birmingham.
