Coffee is okay the espresso tastes very burnt. The vibes in there are strange and unwelcoming.

I always look forward to my visits to this cozy locally owned coffee house! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they never fail to offer fantastic suggestions, especially if you're in the mood to try something new and exciting. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel right at home here. Plus, supporting a local business adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the whole experience. Can't recommend it enough! ☕?

Local Birmingham girl here! Our coffee scene has grown a lot over the years, but my absolute favorite is Baba Java. Their excellence in coffee and espresso drinks have spoiled me rotten. Now as I travel, I compare coffee shops to this one. You won't find a lot of fru-fru drinks here, but what they do, they do well. Try their Orange Apeel Latte or their Shaken Arabian Sands. It's also a lovely place to get some work done as I often do.

Baba Java is a great little coffee shop with an easy atmosphere and great coffee! I tried the camel latte and a lemon blueberry scone and both were delicious!

Loved all the varieties of coffee and flavored lattes. Can’t wait to go back and try another one. Always support local and love the sign of locally roasted farm to cup. Make sure to stop by and support local. The staff was amazing as

My wife and I walked in and asked if they had real honey available, the lady behind the counter said yes. So we made our order, my wife got a honey cinnamon oat late and I got a green tea with honey. When we got our drinks my wife asked if they had put honey in them. The lady replied that she had put some sorta suger water in my green tea and had no idea about my wife's. You order one thing and they just give you what they want you to have. A complete waist of money and will never be back. Just remember you asked for honey and they give you sugar water syrup. There are better coffee shops to choose from.

• Bacon Egg and Cheese CroissantThe quality of the croissant was far from good. The texture was like it was microwaved, and looked nothing like the one displayed. Definitely would not recommend• Ginger SnapsPay attention to the second part of the name “Ginger Snaps”. It’s supposed to be a dry shortbread cookie that “snaps”. The pack I purchased was very soft with mostly coconut flavor and ginger aftertaste. That was disappointing by far.• ColdbrewTypical cold brew slightly acidicTotal $19.98 (Median cost per item $6.66)This was my first time here. The staff are awesome, and the atmosphere is also pretty cool. The inside is clean, and neat. Just for this I’ll give it another try.

Good place to buy your beans. Clean place. Pleasant staff. Only criticism is several times I've gone in to purchase beans and they were out of stock of my favorites.

Baba Java is a top notch coffee shop. They have some of the best coffee and the employees are amazing. They have a really cool background on how the business was started. I definitely recommend coming here. The atmosphere at this location specifically is pretty cool and they've got a traditional couch from the Middle East I think.

This place is fantastic. It has become my new favorite coffee shop in town. I would highly recommend the orange appeal latte. It is a nutty, balanced latte with orange zest.

Baba Java's coffee is rich, confident, sultry, aaand comfy. I love trying new combos from their menu. They have a good selection of organic, fair-trade roasted beans that make great gifts. I'm a big fan of their sweet and savory scones. Orange roll, too! They also offer cold drinks, almond and oat milks, raw sugar, stevia, etc. Pleasant baristas and casual seating. I plan to have tea time next.
