We used Costas to cater a fundraiser for our school's band. Costas was wonderful to work with, very kind and conscientious, they thought of everything we would need for our event, and the food was reasonably priced. our guests loved the salad, bread and entrees (chicken alfredo, lasagna, and baked spaghetti). Costas homemade dressings are fantastic as well--the best ranch and Greek dressings around. Being of Mediterranean descent and a pretty good cook myself, I'm picky about Mediterranean food; Costas tasted like grandma's cooking. Their service was excellent, people friendly & helpful, and everyone was happy with dinner. What more can you ask for?

I’ve came in twice on my lunch break attempting to dine in. Both times no one spoke to me almost as though I wasn’t going to tip. I’ve been in the service industry and I tip at least 30%. Most times 50%. I will never try to dine in here again. Probably won’t eat here again after today. I ended up getting to go because I knew I wouldn’t have time to stop anywhere else.

Terrible customer service and rude staff. My carry out order was incorrect and they were unwilling to do anything about it unless I drove all the way back to Hoover to bring the food back even after acknowledging that they knew it was incorrect. Even if I had brought it back, they could not have reserved it to anyone since it had left the facility and was cold to boot. It's a shame because this place used to be really good, but I will not be back. Additionally, the carry out portion sizes have gotten smaller, and when I inquired about the change I was told the sizes had been the same for the last 20 years which I know is untrue. Sadly, I've heard others say they've had terrible experiences here too.

The person who waited on us was extremely loud and pushy. They were not about to close, but I felt like she was trying to get us out of there. The atmosphere was not pleasant because of that. I ordered the salmon. I usually get seafood there, however this time, I became extremely ill after eating the fish. I do not think I will ever eat there again. I did call them to let them know. They didn’t really seem to care.

Costa's Mediterranean Cafe is a Great place for Italian and Mediterranean food, and I recommend the lasagna, baked spaghetti and spaghetti & meatballs. We all really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere is wonderful!!! Thanks we will be back soon!!!

Delicious authentic Italian and Greek food. Love the Eggplant Parmesan. Affordable lunch. My lunch companion and I shared an entree. The server brought the entree and a second plate. It was a bit messy dividing at the table. I would have preferred that to have been done in the kitchen even if a small up charge was added to the ticket. Music was a little loud. Otherwise, great.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.
