I'm a frequent Tropical Smoothie customer. Got a beach bum smoothie this afternoon and it just doesn't seem to fit the bill. Tastes like it's straight strawberry...I don't even get the chocolate notes from it. You are a smoothie company...I do expect better... Sandwich and wrap were great tho!

The customer service was awful. We had to ask to be served after waiting at the counter for 7 minutes without being greeted. When the lady came to take our order she was rude and didn’t get the order correct. When I asked her to repeat it she didn’t even have the smoothies on the order. I would drive to a different location. Very sad that this was the representation of one of my favorite brands.

Smoothie wasn’t blended good enough. I had chunks of everything which made it difficult to sip since the chunks were too big to come through the straw. I ended up drinking it while eating ice, kale, spinach, mango and pineapple. I didn’t ask for a salad.

The customer service is not the best. To me that makes or breaks, and set the tone of the establishment for me. My first visit, the customer service was ok; but, the second visit, I felt rushed and not valued as a customer even though they were not busy. The smoothies are good; however, with subpar customer service, that’s not good enough to keep people coming back.Initially, I was happy to find a smoothie place that provided healthier options, and planned on going often; however, due to the nonchalant dry customer service, I will not be going back. I want to spend my money where I am appreciated. For the customer service part- y’all can learn a lot from Chick-fil-A?

I've been here a few times since the opening and the customer service has not been consistent. The first few weeks were good but I wanted to leave a review this time because improvement needs to happen! On this particular day, Kia took my order and she was not the most friendliest. She was not having a good day but that's no excuse to not smile and offer a friendly greeting. She answered a question I had which was nice but she needs to turn on some sunshine. Kenny- my goodness what's up with the attitude? It's really not becoming of a man. He just handed me my food like I was a stray animal and my wrap was sloppily made. On a positive note,I can tell Anthony cares about his work. He was professional and polite- a true gentleman. The lady working with him was taking her work seriously too(IDK her name but she's a Caucasian woman). Let me add that the restaurant is clean. In closing, it's bad enough Hueytown lacks in quality restaurants and I was hoping Tropical Smoothie would raise the bar. Please be careful about who gets hired here.

The smoothie was good - not too sweet and a good blend of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate. I waited in the stove through for about 10 min for 1 smoothie, but the nice lady was friendly. I'll come back to see if this is their normal wait time.
