I don’t have the credibility to be talking about perfect scores, but if I did this place would get one from me. The food was fantastic. I chose to try a boba caramel milk tea (if I said any of that right) for the first time ever. I haven’t been so pleasantly surprised by balls popping in my mouth since freshman hazing week. I appreciate how it slowed down how fast I wanted to drink it. The crab rangoon here is the best place I’ve had in Huntsville. I don’t know if real crab is used, but there was a freshness that really set it off from any other place I’ve had it from here. I got a fried sushi roll I forgot the name of, and my wife got the chicken teriyaki. Both were really good.My favorite thing about this place is how the staff interacted with everyone and each other. They seem to support and back one another up, and I feel like that says a lot about the kind of place it is.Parking: Parking is easy to get to from a red light and what you’d expect from a shopping center parking lot.
The best Japanese restaurant in town, hands down. I eat here more than anywhere and they always have excellent ramen, sushi, hibachi, and poke bowls. Very friendly servers and especially Paul.

DELICIOUS! My husband and I were craving Asian food and this place really had it all. We were sat down immediately and had so many options to choose from: Sushi, Ramen, Hibachi, Poke Bowls, Boba teas, etc. (huge menu!). Everything was super hot, had so much flavor, and the service was so friendly. Needless to say we’ve found our new favorite place in town.

Same as in person when ordering online. Great and they give you two separate bowls. One for soup and one for veggies!
After getting the Godzilla Roll and the Kevin Roll on February 14 th and within 20-30 minutes developing a severe headache, projectile vomiting and severe stomach cramping and episodes of diarrhea, I notified the local Health Dept. who did do a surprise visit and found that NO every 4 hour log was being kept of food rotation. The Health Dept worker told me that she did write this restaurant up and that they indeed did have a history of MANY incidents of NOT STORING FOOD AT THE PROPER TEMPERATURES!!!! Well, NO WONDER There was FOOD POISONING!! So this isn't a " One time mistake"!! Aki Japanese Cuisine has a history of multiple multiple incidences of getting in trouble for improper food storage. RUN, don't walk from this very dangerous restaurant. I don't know why they aren't shut down!!!!! I am an RN of over 40 years and I recognize food poisoning when I see it. DISGUSTING!

This has to be the best Japanese in north Alabama. The sushi is fresh, and their dishes are so tasty.. i enjoy their bowls. They also have a tea bar serving a variety of different drinks. Always such a great experience.
