Went to a friend's wedding reception here. It was the perfect place for a reception or party. There is plenty of room, part is under shelter, part is open sky. It is beautiful at night.

We had our Christmas party this year and it was by far nothing short of AMAZING!! The staff were all so helpful and quick to respond to any changes we had to make. We also had them cater our entire party and the food was unbelievable. We highly recommend hosting any event big or small with them, you will not regret it. We will definitely be back!

We went there before corona. I just didn't write a review but it popped up in my feed and the memory was so unpleasant I don't understand why I never wrote a review before. They were extremely slow In their service and made us wait a very long time to be seated and served. Their reason given was that they were short on staff since the establishment was not even 50% filled. No attempt was made to make our wait a pleasant one. We arrived at the beginning of their brunch service and most of their selections were gone. Their excuse was that they didn't get to restock items. And the offerings that were left that we did order were cold and bland. I had such high expectations for this place. I did like the ambience though. Maybe under different circumstances we might have enjoyed our brunch.

We just had our Halloween wedding there and it was everything we anticipated and so much more. Staff went above and beyond for us. Thank you guys so much for making our day so memorable.

The atmosphere is nice and the staff was friendly. But the food was awful. Our party had three Brisket orders and all where just slices of burnt fat with no meat. The one steak order was for medium and came out well done. Burger order was not correct and the replacement was raw in the middle. The mac-n-cheese was very grainy. And was not clear that mix vegetables was a Cole slaw blend without dressing.I don't write this with pleasure but it is not without insight. My husband is a certified master chef and I have almost 20 years experience as a full service cook. It seems that a adjustment to the menu so that the kitchen staff can execute it constantly is needed.I hope that this does not reoccur as I really enjoyed the overall look of this establishment. Just need some staff with more experience.

Great comfy off the beaten path place. Inexpensive brunch. I like to take out of town guests here.

Closed until further notice. Below is the note posted on their door, and also found on their website ( if you didn't hear the news, but after months of maintaining the highest standards for our community's well-being to provide the safest multi-service venue available in a pandemic, we have decided to now concentrate on our core value - hosting events in "Downtown's Backyard." As of Monday, August 24th, we are temporarily closing our restaurant/bar services to walk-in business. We remain open for events and large reservations throughout the entire facility including the recently remodeled Banquet Hall, Kiln and Patio Gardens next to the Blue Bayou railcar. In suspending this portion of our service, we know not only can we better focus on doing our part to further the safety of our guests and staff, but we'll be able to elevate the great effort we already put into hosting parties. We are proud that the Lumberyard facility and staff have not contributed to the spread of Covid-19. In fact, for the last 13 years our service health-safety record has been 100%.

A very eclectic bar and pretty good live music! The prices are outrageous however and the location is very far from central downtown where most nightlife is.

With reservations being recommended for the show last night, there’s no reason to have been so under staffed. My date and myself were the last of a group of 7 at a reserved table. After 30 minutes, no one had even acknowledged our presence. When I was finally able to flag down a member of the waitstaff, I asked if she knew who our server was. Of course she didn’t. After a sigh, she begrudgingly took our orders. Fifteen minutes later she returned with just water so I cancelled

Great place for an event. We held a Celebration of Life here when the funeral home wouldn't allow many friends and family to attend one there. They were COVID-19 aware and executed the mask and social distancing right. A.M. Booth's Lumberyard did an amazing job!!

We went for Sunday brunch and had vegetarian omelets with potatoes. The food was delicious; the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was unique and intriguing. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and we'll be back. (For covid, they all wore masks, & they checked our temperature before we were seated.)
