Food was fresh. I got the catfish meal, the fish wasn't seasoned, only crisp on the ends but not soggy per se. Fries were very good, but the hot sauce saved the fish. Good prices for sure, I would come back to try something else since the service was exceptional as well.
Ok. I hate bbq. I love this place. We were on our way to Huntsville airport and this place is one exit before you get there. We pull into a trailer park (I'm slightly concerned) and pull up to a building that looks like it was built in the 60s and is maybe 900square feet. We went inside at 1130 and we were the only people in the joint (another concerning moment). We ordered at the window and sat down. This will be our “Thomas Pit” go to. Ordered for first time and was so impressed with ribs, chicken pork catfish and okra. Family visiting from NY and wanted them to experience true Southern BBQ. Plus prefer to support a local business and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back. Out of Mac and cheese so will try next time.
