We stopped by to give the place a try. Last time the food wasn't as good as they normally prepare. This time it was lots better. My hope for great Mei Fun has returned. We used to frequent this restaurant at least once a month. COVID hit and things changed. They are back open with their buffet now. I have never tried the buffet. It is clean and looks great. Nice little spot on the southern tip of Huntsville. The atmosphere was typical for a Chinese spot, there was a table for 4, and a larger table for 8-10 diners, surrounded by booths on two sides. The young man at the counter was pleasant but all business (I know this feeling, I've worked retail). They appear to have a buffet, but it's not set up at night.
