My bestie and I went in with the old timers this past weekend for breakfast, and I must say, we had the BEST waitress. The food was great. The place was clean. I think the waitress’ name was Kristin? She was probably in her 40s, dark hair, very funny.

Went in for lunch with my Dad.Food was horrible. Service was worse. Food score was 74, avoid at all costs. McDonald's would have been a better option had we known what we had in store.

Cracker Barrel seems to have lost their place in the industry. In an effort to catch more of the market, they have expanded the menu, offering new options. In the meantime, the staff are rushing around, seemingly overwhelmed, even when the restaurant is no where near full. I had never been to a Cracker Barrel where I was seated and had a long wait to get water, until now. The waitress was polite but rushed. The food was bland. Actually, worse than bland because adding salt/pepper did not improve the taste. The recipe for hashbrown casserole has apparently changed. The texture and taste is not what I anticipated. The scrambled eggs were rubbery. If the service had not taken so long and I were not so hungry, I would have left. Instead, I ate my food, paid and decided it would be a long while before I ate at ANY Cracker Barrel again. This is the third time (different locations) I have been disappointed with my meal at a Cracker Barrel. If I am going to waste my money, I will go for true fast food!

I got a table right away. It took about 15 minutes for the server to come over. Then it took another half an hour to get the food. I had meatloaf and it was overcooked. Not doing this one again.

Danielle was very nice and helpful. When my order was ready she assisted me in a freindly manner. Also, when I left and came back because something was missing from my order she was understanding and proceeded to get what was missing because the kitchen staff was taking too long. My mashed potatoes were col. my fried okra was fried so hard I couldn’t even bite it an it was cold also. My server did replace my fried okra with carrots when I asked her.

I walked in and was nearly knocked over by another customer rushing behind me, slamming into my arm and scaring me pretty badly. He took off through the store and into the restaurant, full speed. Not Cracker Barrel's fault, but why was this customer's inappropriate behavior allowed to continue? Other than a life or death emergency, there are zero other reasons an adult who is safe to be around others should act this way in public. He was allowed to stay in the restaurant as if he didn't just endanger me and anyone else in his path.I can't hold Cracker Barrel responsible for the actions of a customer, but about 5-10 mins later, a four star waitress must have noticed how rattled I was and she accosted me as if I did something wrong. I mean seriously? What kind of bully sees someone clearly not feeling well and treats them that way? I bought gifts for a baby shower, grabbed my to-go order for my family, then left. Spent around $60 or $70 total. Doubt I'll ever spend any more here.
