Wife and I ordered the shrimp and catfish basket, the fish was smaller than expected maybe 3-4 oz piece of meat, so small in fact we were not happy, the shrimp were ok and nothing to complain about there, it took 30 minutes or better to get our food once we ordered, the fries looked crispy but were very soggy, very few and all of the food was warm not hot like it had been sitting for 10 minutes before being brought out. They had no ketchup (ironic they have kids menu items but no ketchup) and there were no napkins out as well any where in the dinning room area. Once I checked out the server/cashier didn’t even turn the machine around for me to select a tip (which I would have selected 0 since the waitress took our order brought drinks and then nothing the rest of the hour that we were there and the cook brought our food out) yet looking at my charges today she added 10$ to her tip and didn’t deserve one penny of that.Felt very fast food like place but not fast at all.Would not recommend, and will not be going back. 14$ for a meal and the plate looked like it could have been 7-8$ at best food wise. I will be returning to get my over charge back.

Wife and I absolutely love Frankies but sometimes orders are hit and miss and other times even when ordering the same thing I always order it comes out tasting different. There is no consistency with the flavor or spicing it seems! It's not terrible and we will continue to order from there but I will be happier when there is consistency. I'm sure just like every other restaurants in the area COVID and lack of steady workforce plagues them but we REALLY enjoy their food a lot!!!!! Last two times we were in they were only offering pickup or delivery. We live close enough that dining in isn't really a must for us.

First would like to express that the food is at times 5 star quality. But its seems there are more than one cooks and recipes aren't exactly shared. Sometimes it's taste like heaven, sometimes bland n flavorless (ex. lobster mac n cheese ). Not here to tear down hopefully you guys find consistency with your dishes.

My mother wanted crab legs for her birthday this year and we love to support local so we gave them a try! Best decision we've made all year! They're extremely nice and very polite! Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised with how great this food was. We have ordered several times now and we haven't been disappointed yet either by food quality or service. They care about your feedback and want to know if you have any problems. We would highly recommend them to anyone who likes a good seafood style meal. It is given to you in bags and disposable containers, our meal contained potatoes, crab legs, corn on the cob, sausage and you can even make the meal spicy or regular. Definitely should try Frankie's Crab Shack. It's nice to have a seafood spot in our area.

I've lived in this area for years but just discovered this place. It's run by a sweet local lady and her mom who does the cooking. They'll treat you like you're down home. My daughter had the catfish platter and I had a combo platter with grilled shrimp and scallops and fried oysters and clams. There were two huge catfish on the catfish platter, fried to perfection, enough for two meals. The clams were OK, kind of small so maybe too much breading, but frankly you really can't get good clams outside the East coast anyway. Best was the grilled shrimp, huge, juicy, spiced nicely - I could eat a bucket of them. The place is right on Winchester Rd but not very noticeable; I told the lady to hire someone who could put up a better sign lol. By all means check this place out, considering the seafood desert that is Huntsville, especially the east side over Chapman Mountain.

I so wanted to give this establishment five stars because of the great reputation. The customer service was excellent. The hush puppies came out hot. The shrimp and catfish were amazing. However, the food in the seafood boil was extremely salty. Almost to the point of not being able to finish. I would suggest erroring on the side of less and allow patrons to add more salt. Overall nice experience but just average tasting food.
As a Floridian who loves to come to Huntsville. It's the taste of home. And seasoned to perfection. My son had the spicy tail chaser and it was AMAZING definitely adding this to my favorites.

I'm giving you three stars because you were my dad's go-to for fish on Friday. Not anymore. We have ordered the same meal every Friday since you opened. For the past 4 months the food and service quality has gone down hill. We'll check in periodically to see if the food and service has changed but we are taking a break from you. Too many badly cooked meals .
