I attended a birthday party at this beautiful establishment. Rhythm on Monroe did not miss chile. The food is delicious!!! We had several appetizers on the table, including the Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts with Cranberries, Hot Southern Crab Dip with Seasoned Fried Chips, and Chicken Nachos ( specially made for my friend, the birthday girl). I ordered the chicken wings with a side of Sriracha and Sweet Chili Sauce on the side. Both sauces were delicious. I love sweet potato fries, and these won me over. One of the guests ordered the Smoked Duroc Pork Chop with Parmesan Grit Cake and Grilled Asparagus, and he said it was good. I do not eat pork, so I did not taste this item. The plate looked delicious, though. The atmosphere was relaxing with good vibes. I loved the layout of the menu, too, like you are attending a concert. Shoutout to Erica Davis, our waiter. She was the sweetest, most attentive waiter I've come in contact with. Thanks again to the manager, Keith, for checking on us, making sure we had what we needed. I will definitely be back again and hopefully get a chance to catch a live performance next time.Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu is so cute with several great options for kids to try.

I made a reservation for a party of eight. Our party wanted to enjoy a dinner and a play at the VBC. I made the reservations two weeks in advance to ensure we would be able to eat and walk to the play in a timely manner.I called to change the reservation two nights before and the hostess explained she had no seating; however I was able to make reservations on the website myself. We arrived at 5:30pm and were seated separately. We had to request to speak to the manager in charge, in order to be seated together because the hostess again refused to be accommodating. We were there for over two hours before receiving our food and the server was not attentive to our needs. The food was cold and no apologies were made. This is unacceptable for an established business. The lack of customer service and accountability made for an unpleasant experience.

Came in before it got super busy, took almost an hour to get service despite seeing the waiter and other wait staff helping tables that came in after us. Our water was never refilled, no drinks offered. The food was lackluster for the price point. Will not be going back.

My husband and I come about once a month and ALWAYS have a wonderful experience- we normally sit at the bar! The food is exceptional, every time! The menu does change often, which keeps it interesting!! The cinnamon roll is my favorite (and never goes away!) Craig was our bartender tonight and was so kind! The manager, Ryberg, always greets us with a smile! We love Rhythm!

Very good modern bistro experience across from Mars music hall on NEast corner of VBC.. perfect place to make dinner drinks and show adult nite out memorable.. reliably great experience. We finished with a shared shot of frangelica !!
4/2024I had the pull pork sandwich. I had to send it back twice. It was cold, dry, and flavorless. My wife had the chicken picatta... She said it was very bland.The only saving grace was our server, Katelin. Their food is subpar.Reminded me of a cafeteria.

Last night, a Saturday night the restaurant was very busy. We had reservations. The hostess, her name I believe was Dawn- had great customer service, and she kept giving us options and then she made sure we got to our table in a timely manner as soon it was cleaned off. She just went over and beyond. I think she should be rewarded for her caring, Professional, warm attitude . Our server was good. The music was good, and I will return..

Used to be a lot better. The food is significantly worse, as of about August 2023. Oddly enough the service has gotten better. We asked if the place was under new management, and it seems there is a new head chef. I doubt we will go through the hassle of going much any more, with the decline in food quality.

The food is very good, service at the bar is great. My only complaint is the way-too-loud guitar player/singer. We sat at the bar, opposite side from her and could not talk over the loud music. We came for the food, dining experience, and to enjoy each other's company, not to hear loud mediocre music that inhibits normal conversation. In my opinion, live music in restaurants should be at background volume and not the focal point of the dining experience. My real preference is for a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere with no live music, but I may be outnumbered on that since it seems more restaurants are providing it. At the very least turn down the volume.

If you don't have a reservation on big event nights at the VBC or any of the connected venues then forget about. You won't even be able to get a seat at the bar. The host stand has no idea how to run a dining room. The food here is great, service, once seated is great. Just don't expect to be seated w/o a reservation!
