This was my first and last time dinning at Rocket City Tavern. I ordered the wings plain with the sauce on the side. When I got them they were burnt and cooked so hard which made the dry. The wings actually taste like they were wings from the day before. Of course our amazing bartender took them back apologizing for the mistake. He reordered them and brought them out. I ate one or two more of them and closed the Togo box . They were OVER COOKED and burnt which made them very dry. I would never go and order food from this place again!!! Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

This tavern was a great location for a TVA community information meeting concerning the new power line to go across South Huntsville to Redstone Arsenal. The Rocket City Tavern is a beautiful place and very clean. Easy to find in Redstone Gateway.

On this beautiful day with gorgeous weather we came straight here. Service was great food was phenomenal and fresh. I got the Rocket combo he got the burger. No complaints!! The salad took my breath away but was so simple and my tummy doesn’t hurt after eating lol. 2 meals $42. Connor helped us out and was great!

Honestly, my husband and I were pretty excited about trying this location for our weekly date night. Much to my disappointment, the ENTIRE restaurant closed for a private function. I guess I can understand that, although for the sake of overall management, it's not even holiday time and most places close a portion of a restaurant....Either way, that's not even my problem. My husband has an ankle injury and we parked right in front of the outdoor seating where they apparently had been setting up for the event. We were given odd stares yet, nobody of all the staff there had the courtesy to say...hey, we are closed, before we made it to the door. Again, my husband has a very obvious limp in his walk.So, if that's how we get with no service...what does service look like???...BTW, I am a disable veteran so places who claim to support but treat plain clothes people like that quite frankly don't deserve my benefits..
Nice place, warm interior. Very nice staff. My app was the spinach artichoke dip with salsa both delicious. My meal was the fish and chips (cod and fries) very good! Mash potato tartar sauce, loved! Lots of good specials and weekly events. Recommend! $$ price point
