This one was rough. We arrived and there was a line of people waiting but no one attending the hostess table. We waited about 15-20 minutes before someone came out and started to coordinate being sat. We got sat and no one came by our table. No one asked us about drinks or even brought out water. After another 15-20 minutes we gathered up and left. Would not recommend this place. We ended up going to Tokyo about 8 minutes away and after a short wait, we got out drinks, and food orders in. Much better experience.

We were greeted with “How Many” when we walked in with our family to tryout shogun. Our meal was prepared quickly (not much of a show) and the rice was hard. We brought a cake (daughter’s bday) and had to ask them to hold it for us. When we got finished all our plates were still on the table, the waiter didn’t tell anyone about us having a birthday nor did she ask if we were ready for her cake (my husband had to go looking for her). To top it off they wrote on our receipt gratuity of 15% because they considered my husband and 4 children a party. Tokyo is where we normally go so we are super disappointed with Shogun and their service.

Food was ok. I love hibachi thought that was what I was going to get but instead got teriyaki flavored food. No garlic butter just a big tub of regular butter lol I was disappointed at that but my coworker enjoyed.
Second attempt reservations at 6:00 PM both times and each time we're told it would be 1 an 1/2 hour to 2 hour wait. That is unacceptable as the reservations were made both times. WHY HAVE THE OPTION OF RESERVATIONS IF YOU ARE TOLD TO WAIT OVER AN HOUR?

I usually make hibachi at home but had a pregnancy craving for it so we did research online and looking at their online menu and pricing decided to go here. I just want to say that their ONLINE MENU PRICES ARE 30% LESS EXPENSIVE THAN RESTAURANT PRICES! Online prices are $6 less per meal on their website than in the restaurant. I tried to email and the email they have on their social media doesn’t work and they haven’t replied to other attempts. A lot of people online say that Shoguns knows the pricing isn’t right but refuses to address it.We were already upset about the menu pricing and it was just aggravated by the chef forgetting a meal. I asked the waitress about it and she fixed it.

The service was good once they actually made it to us. We had a big party so we had to have 2 servers which was good because the food was done all together. The rice was a little under cooked, but it worked. I didn't like that the cook mixed all the different steaks together, so we ended up getting different textures of meat. All in all, it was good.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed, for big parties they have a private room with 2 tables.
