The Birria tacos are to die for! Diamond in the rough type joint.

First time going here — I asked what their best tacos were and was recommended the steak al pastor tacos. Delicious is an understatement. The steak was soft and gristle was edited out, marinated and cooked perfectly -- soft, tender, moist, and flavorful. Their pico de gallo actually had cilantro in it -- this is another sign of quality Mexican food -- it contains or is seasoned with cilantro, onion, and pepper (Jalapeno or Serrano). My tacos were delicious ,I will be going back to try their enchiladas next and they have pozole soup on the weekends! The staff were super friendly and wanted to ensure I had the best lunch! Which is good because, I eat 1 Mexican food meal a day, every day. I’ll update with more info as I eat here more!

The food was cooked great with fluffy rice, nice char on meat, fresh zesty flavor. Its a great hole in the wall restaurant able to seat a lot of people as it is in the corner of a shopping center. It has been a few years since my last review. The tamales are still the best in Huntsville. Missed these flavors. Their pico de gallo is fresh. The sauce is subjective, the food thankfully does not need sauce. The red sauce is more of a hot spicy sauce not a lot of flavor, and the green you can taste the tomatillos but its also overpowered by a hot spiciness. I will be back again, thank you for the service!

Something has changed. Not sure if they have new owners. Prices are still decent but they now charge separate for what most Mexican places include with their meals. For example, rice and beans don’t come with some plates that normally come with the meal at other places. Lettuce, guac, tomatoes and sour cream usually comes with fajitas - not here … if you want it - it costs extra. It’s a shame. I used to love this place.

My shrimp quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The queso was way too thin. I could have drink it with a straw. The management and staff are wonderful people. Truly good

Very reasonably priced. Chips were thin, crispy and adequately salted. I had a taco salad and it was so good. The beef was flavored well. Our waiter was

It's been years since I've been here, but it's still delicious. Prices are good, portions are good, food is fresh and delicious. Came with a friend and we got a veggie taco salad, a veggie sope, and a beef burrito. My friend actually changed her original order from a taco salad to 2 sopes, but they brought the taco salad as well.So let's start with that: the taco salad was just ok. Most of the bowl was massive pieces of green pepper, which my friend doesn't like. she wound up taking them all out, which cut the fillings in half, basically. The rest was good, though. She was amazed by the sope. i took a bite and it was really good. Warm, maiz-y but also a bit creamy somehow? Maybe "soft" is a better word than "creamy" here...The beef burrito was so good lol Like...the flavors were poppin, the juices were running down my chin, the topics were proportioned really well. I inhaled it and hope to do so again in the near future.

Best AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Huntsville!

The food is very authentic and delicious. If you want a more Americanized version (Tex-Mex), this may be a little too authentic for you. It is really tasty. I loved it. I had the birria tacos?. I'll get something else next time, even though they were delicious. I like trying new foods. Their chips and salsa was delicious.? Thedark salsa in the condiment bottle was gross, though. They bring that out with your food. That tasted like earwax ?. The Jamaican water was awesome. It's sorrel, but they don't call it that. Everything except the dark red condiment was delicious. The waiter was very friendly and professional.

My family and I have made this restaurant our "go to" for good, quality Mexican food! The staff is always great and the food is phenomenal. My favorite part is always leaving with a bag of homemade skins!
