While passing through Huntsville, AL, I looked for a hamburger place close to my hotel. I pulled into the parking lot of Wayback Burgers and almost kept going. The dirty front window said, “If they won’t keep the front window clean, how can I expect their restaurant to be clean?” I read a few reviews that said it was clean inside and the burgers were good, so I went in. The inside was clean and the food was great! The burgers were juicy, the tomato ripe, with just the right amount of condiments. The fries were hot and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The food was served quickly and the order taker was friendly. I will come again!

Our first time there and we were not disappointed! The single classic burger was delicious! My husband enjoyed his Cheesey burger. The onion rings were delicious and the sweet tea was good.

First time eating at a Wayback. The burger was good and the fries were hot. No issues. Everyone was friendly and it was clean. If you're looking for a good flat top style burger give them a shot.

I’ve had food from Wayback Burgers a few times before. And it’s always been great!
No idea if it's good or not. Smelled dirty and they acted like I was invisible or something, no hello, no welcome, how can i help you, wouldn't even take my order oh well. Must be hiding something, but not very well. Call the health department. If that's the owner hopefully you can stay in business and afford to remove your mole one day that didn't improve my appetite. Even the circle k next door said hello when I walked up to the register, asked how I was doing, if you can't do that much you shouldn't be in service business. Plenty other options to choose from in this town.

The food looks so amazing but taste a bit bland. The meat for the burger was dry and lacked flavor. The pickles were over battered and over fried. They do have a neat selection of food from beef to chicken to vegetarian "meats" and hot dogs. The Buffalo chicken sandwich seemed top notch. My daughter loved it. I believe I even saw him take a real chicken breast out to cook. You can order any chicken sandwich fried or grilled. They have many toppings and sauces to choose from and you can build your own sandwich too. The fries were pretty good, and they had yummy looking shakes but we didn't try them. Worth a try but I would shoot mor3 for a chicken option and leave the pickles alone.

I saw this place in a little strip mall near the hotel. Later that night I ordered through Grubhub so I never went inside. The delivery was a little slow and may have had some effect on the meal. The chocolate milkshake was vanilla with chocolate syrup. Very good but no so thick. Again, I blame Grubhub more than the restaurant. The burger was good. The toppings were fresh. They advertise a Western burger but I went with the more traditional. Fries did not come with the burger so instead I tried the chicken tenders. Again they were good but basically consisted of fried chicken parts soaked in medium wing sauce. Again, I wish it had arrived a little sooner and warmer. In all this is a decent local burger place. Maybe eating there would have added to the excitement of the place. Still it beats the normal fast food joints.

Went for a Phillycheese steak sandwich. The steak meat was pretty good but the roll was not worthy of a Phillycheese. Service was fine and restaurant clean.
