You do not have to take a drink if you do not want it. And I am pretty sure that your waitress could run circles around you. If that is all that you have to complain about….ONE BEER…you may need to just stay home.

I stopped going to this place because of the service. Haven't been there around 4 years and decided to stop in. An older lady was tending bar and she did good. Only had two drinks and the next morning I felt hung over. What it was I contacted COVID. I'm 95% sure thats where I picked it up.

This place is charmingly divey, and I can see why it’s a neighborhood fave, but I had a bad experience. Waited at the bar for the barmaid to finish her break. I had been standing there for nearly five minutes when 3 ladies walked in. The barmaid had been standing in the corner, talking to a fellow employee. When she approached the bar, she decided to serve the ladies first. Honest mistake? Maybe. But the ladies had a complicated drink order and I only wanted a canned beer. Had she noticed me, she could have taken my order, realized how simple it was and cracked the beer. Only that didn’t happen. She went in the back room and took about 8 minutes to make an a time-consuming bucket-style drink for the ladies. When she finally took my drink order, she got it wrong twice. I get it: “Jai Alai” sounds a lot like “High Life” lol. She handed me a bottle of High Life. When I clarified that I wanted the “Jai Alai IPA,” she said “Oh, the IPA.” She then handed me a can that said “IPA” but was not the beer I had ordered. She had already cracked it, and by now I had given up, so I drank it. And it was a pretty terrible beer. I had planned to drink a few beers, because I had about 15 minutes to kill before picking up a food order. But I spent about 13 waiting for service and then had to chug something disgusting so my food wouldn’t be cold. Barmaid seemed very nice, and I don’t think she meant to inconvenience me. But this was really bad service and should be noted

What a garbage place. Closed 45 mins early and a lady is yelling at me through the door. Always heard good things about this place, but this first attempt sucked

Stopped in while I was in town on business. I know from experience, you can't judge a book by its cover. And Bourbon Street Bar was just what I needed. First thing I noticed was the clean parking lot. Signs posted warned of possible physical violence for those who dispose their butts on the ground. Walking up, I recognized the architecture as a forgotten relic from yesterdoodle. It's an old Pizza Hut, dressed up with plywood and awnings. I knew I was in the right place, when I opened the door, and was greeted by a couple of puppers and the bartender. This was 10 months ago, so her name escapes me. But I have a pretty good feeling she's still there, shining glasses and crafting cocktails. I wanted a quaint place to hang out. And found just that. A couple locals, a couple well behaved pups, the bartender, and the elderly owner rounded out the roster of everyone in attendance. The owner had to be in his mid 80s, and was sharp as ever! With a golden sense of humor to match! I had a great time with my boss and a coworker. We were in town to purchase a machine built locally to Birmingham. We work back in Wisconsin. After a couple drinks, and a few rounds of fetch, I felt like I was with old friends. We talked about the area, things to do, things to see. Interesting history and happenings. I didn't want to leave! But, the hotel wasn't cheap, so we went back there to get our money's worth!! We definitely got our money's worth here!! Bourbon Street Bar and Lounge is a 10/10!! 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would recommend!!

Went to this place and the staff and customers were the best! Drinks were fairly priced, drank a whole baby, if you’re in the know, and sang karaoke till closing time. Had a blast and wish I lived closer so I could make it my go to.

You looking to have a good time without going broke? Look no further! Bourbon Street is the place for you. These beta male one star reviews got their balls tucked between their legs. Mary and Katie run the bar with grace and skill. Their prowess is unmatched and their pours are heavy. You’re 60 meters into this dive bar, and if you don’t like it, you probably voted for Biden. In conclusion, Bourbon Street is the BEST bar in the area. You are missing out on the best time of your life if you do not go.DO NOT PLAY THE QUARTER MACHINE! I might have a gambling problem….

Wonderful people. If you don't like it, don't hate it. A drink or ten and you'll fit in. We will all be old one day if we stop pissing off the world and each other. I am amazed at the guys and gals who love me and accept me here as a Trans. You'll love Dana. (When you see her)

Bartenders were rude and obviously intoxicated. Specifically the lady with darker hair and no teeth, but the other one who said she was the owner’s daughter wasn’t pleasant either and could barely speak a clear sentence. Will not be back.
