Food is awesome, cafeteria style service, very attentive and very good. Good old fashioned ethics that is hard to find. Very nice inside, period items everywhere, very clean. One of my favorite places. Best meat and three you will find. Been here for 96- years, fried green tomatoes are worth the drive.

Iconic & endearing, Irondale Cafe is a must for lunch! I seek to visit whenever I am traveling through the area. They have a great country, soul-food, fresh selection of food via a staff serviced style cafe offering. Meat & 2, Meat and 3 or any combination one may wish for is available. Staff is attentive and friendly. The train station vibe both marvelous and unique.

The food here is good! It's nice to have good food that isn't from a drive-thru. The history is nice too. I like seeing the train platform out front, but unfortunately it was taped off the day we went. But the food was great!
