We phone our dinner orders in and my husband picks them up. Food is always exceptional. I favor the country fried steak and gravy but we’ve never gotten anything that wasn’t good. The only complaint is they do not have standard hours and close at 7:30 if they don’t close earlier. They also seem to be shorthanded often.
One of the best southern style meat and 3 table service or to go restaurants around. Food is cooked to order for the most part. They have a nice salad bar as well. I love their in season fried green tomatoes and homemade mashed potatoes. My top 3 favorite entrees are the fried catfish dinner, chicken liver dinner and veggie plate dinner.
