Great experience and the best chocolate gravy and biscuits I have had in years. If you want good food and miss the good old days when people actually treat you like friends instead of just a customer, you need to go here.

Graves Grocery has everything: great food, great service, and a down home atmosphere. Everything I've ever gotten here has been delicious, but the lasagna is my husband's favorite over any other place in north Alabama! Pam, the owner, is wonderful, kind, and loves talking with her customers. Don't pass up this little gem.

The old farm house feel is what gives this place it's charm. From burgers to pies; the simple menu is more than enough. And you can play a guitar while your waiting on your food! The price is right too.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp

I am not from the area and was passing through when I noticed the cafe. The food was very tasty. It's simple food but to me this can be the very best, especially when served with kindness and laughter. I would recommend this cafe to anyone in the area or passing through.

My wife and I had passed this place numerous times on our way to Huntsville while traveling on Hwy 36 and finally decided to stop in and try their food. Several of our friends from church had mentioned this restaurant to us, so one afternoon we decided to go there. We got there rather late in the day so what was available was limited, so we chose to have cheese burgers. These were prepared fresh and were very tasty, but what was surprising was the offer of "moon-pie banana pudding" for desert. I started to pass it up, but on second thought I said, "why not" and boy am I glad I did!! I typically like banana pudding, but the addition of a crumbled chocolate moon-pie to the pudding was both surprising and amazingly tasty!! I will definitely go back for both the burgers and the moon-pie banana pudding!!

All I've gotta say is that the chicken salad is out of this world. Be sure to stop by Graves Grocery and give them a try! You won't be disappointed.
