“Some of the poorer reviews were correct at the time. The resort was in bad need of some upgrades. They have now completed new decks and stairs all around the clubhouse, they playground is now in safe, operable condition and the putt putt has been remodeled. They are grading the roads which has helped with the pot holes. I’m hoping they bring in something to fill the remainder in. Improvements are being made and it truly is a beautiful place with wonderful, friendly people. So if you were here before with a bad experience, don’t let that one visit keep you away. Activities are ongoing and it would be a shame for you to miss the improvements mad. I come here on a regular basis and will continue to do so. Hope to see you there.“

“We stopped by on a day trip, just myself and Hubby. It was around lunch time. The place was busy so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. The people who waited on us were very nice and attentive. The food choices are not that big. My BLT was good, but they had no fries to go with it. They only offered chips, and about 3 other side type items. The other food choices were other sandwiches. There were no burgers either. The ice cream choices were very plentiful. I got black walnut on a waffle cone and it was delicious. The visit was very pleasant. Would go again for ice cream, but not for lunch itself.“
