I have lived in Alabama for about two years now the bbq has been just not up to what I’m used to ( white sauce , Cole slaw , bbq sauce, dried out meat you have to drown in sauce to eat ) just saying not a fan. Well moved to Madison and tried this place hands down the best bbq so far in the area.Tastes just like down home bbq southern style. Have to try more but this place rocks.

The Chuck Wagon BBQ has absolutely DELICIOUS BBQ! The workers were nice, the atmosphere was nicely decorated in a rustic western -ish style theme, and the service was alright.My only close to negative thing I have to say about this great BBQ place, is that it's rather expensive!!! I had a baked potato with BBQ on top, my friend had the same thing, we both got a drink and it cost us like $40 something dollars!!! So, to me, the cost does not go with the meal as far as for the amount you're getting! It's very pricey!Aside from their high prices, I really enjoyed my experience at The Chuck Wagon BBQ! However, I highly doubt I will return there for a future visit! Personal preferences!But, if you're in the Huntsville Alabama area and have quite a few extra dollar$ to blow, You should go ahead and try it out for yourself!!!P. S. Parking was MINIMAL!!! I actually parked in the back, in another establishment's Parking lot! So, parking is tricky and spots are super limited!!!

This place smells like heaven when you walk in. This was the second time I’ve eaten here and they have some of the best brisket that I know about in the state of Alabama. I was craving some pretty bad and had the day off so I drove up from Birmingham today. It was well worth the trip. Birmingham doesn’t really have too much brisket besides buccees so I take little road trips every so often to satisfy my cravings for brisket. I had the Chuck Wagon sandwich which is brisket topped with sausage on a bun, mac & cheese, and their delicious, freshly cooked waffle fries. I believe I had the exact meal the other time I visited. One of these days I’m going to try the ribs, pork, and turkey.
They weren't playing when they said come eat some of the best bbq you'll ever stuff your greedy face with...definitely worth the drive for me. Good stuff.

Amazing Brisket and their prices on the kids menu items really can't be beat for the quality. This is our go to BBQ place. great atmosphere and fantastic food. Its a Huntsville/Madison staple.

Hearty portions in an rustic setting. Friendly staff and excellent service. Everything had a good flavor. Ribs could have been more fall off the bone but was plenty juicy. Wings were fair, previously smoked, and fried to reheat.
