I am absolutely upset that they took away the fried grit cakes in the shrimp and grits. That was the main reason for going as much as I did. The gravy on top of regular grits was too soupy for me.

Prepare to wait bc it's no secret this place is the spot! We've never had a bad meal here. The staff works double time....give em a good tip! Wish they had shaded outdoor seating is my only reason for one less star. Probably think about opening more locations, please? We like the Monte Christo and chicken and waffles.

Food was very good. However the service was slow, considering there seemed to be enough help. Servers socialize more w/ other employees then doing thier assigned jobs. This we witnessed several times. Overall good place to eat, need better managerial observation.
