Menu was kind of small, but the refried beans came in a mini Taco salad bowl/fried tortilla and I feel everywhere else is missing out by not doing that. The food was good and the service was great, I'd recommend it!

The place is very clean nice bathrooms (love the sinks so pretty) The service is top notch. Wait time even with a warning sign saying longer waiting times due to low staff, our food came to us within 10 mins of ordering. I ordered The Mexicano Tosquitos with a side of rice and beans. I was not impressed at all with my food. My husband ordered the Fish Tacos. It comes with a side of sauce to put on the taco. I was excited to try a bite of his since I was disappointed in my food. I straight up gagged. That was the nastiest fish taco I've ever tasted. It was way to pricy for small portions and to hate the food so much. Oh I don't know what the back the chips and salsa was supposed to taste like. But even that was awful! Usually I'll give another chance. But not this place. I do wished all the good about this place could be at a better quality food place.

We found this place on TA and came because of the reviews and the fact that it was close to our hotel. I had the Camarones Mojo de Ajo, and it was fabulous. It's hard to find this dish in most American/Mexican places, so I was eager to try it. My wife had the Pollo Villa, which came with a large chicken filet with a light creamy cheese sauce. Not that nasty cheese dip you find everywhere either; it's real cheese. It also had five good-sized shrimps as well. I gotta say, the food quality here was really superlative. Hot, fresh, and flavorful. The cook really knows how to cook shrimp properly. The rice was also very unique; buttery, slightly spiced, and good. Even the side salad was super fresh. The thing about this place is that it's like the restaurants in the interior of Mexico; more Spanish influence and mild flavors. If you want something to give you a good burn, order come chiles toreados; that's what we did. They were also excellent. We will definitely be going back next time we're in Rocket City.
