I’d like to share my lunch experience at the Wendy’s on 11300 Country Line Road in Madison today at approximately 13:03 hrs (1:03 PM civilian time). Upon my arrival, the place was empty but for two other customers who were already seated. I’ll start with the good. The overall interior of the restaurant was clean and inviting. The young man that took my order (Fajardo) was very pleasant and helpful and more importantly he got the order right. That’s where the good ends. After waiting the requisite amount of time my name is called and I pick up my order and take a seat in a both facing the counter. I start eating my meal and cannot help seeing that the man working the fries station was fiddling with his ball cap and fiddling with his dreads for a good 2 – 3 minutes while operating the French fry station. In between him filling French fry orders, I must have seen him at least twice munching on fries and going back to adjusting his ball cap and continuing fiddling with his dreads. At no time did I observe this young man wash his hands after repeatedly touching his cap and mane. I found that extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. During this time there were at a minimum 7 workers behind the counter with at least two ‘management’ personnel. Not one of these ‘mangers’ said anything to the French fry man about his actions while on the line. There were a few maintenance men working in the cooking area and each time one of them went out to their truck, upon their return they immediately washed their hands before going back into the cooking area. Ironic wouldn’t you say… Moving on to the food, my burger was blah… just two pieces of bread with a piece of dried out mystery meat and a piece of cheese. The fries were warm at best and half of them went uneaten after witnessing the fry station employee actions which kind made me feel like YUK! I said nothing while I was there as I did not want the ‘manager’ to go off on the fry person, if he/she even found the situation disturbing. I for one will NEVER return to this location and it’s not because I am a pre-madonna. I realize it is fast food but part of fast should be sanitary as well. Dave would be rolling in his grave.

After a long day on the road, I had decided to spend my hard earned money on a Wendy’s single. Arrived home only to open a chicken sandwich. So disappointed as it was my choice to eat at Wendy’s but it was their choice not to double my order.

I try and give this location the benefit of the doubt bc their food is great and the customer service is great too. However the past 2 times I’ve ordered here they forgot my sauce (not that big of a deal but I’m one of those freaks that won’t eat the nuggets without the sauce?). Today I order lunch for my family and while this was my fault bc I didn’t check the bag, they forgot my nuggets BUT they remembered the sauce! So maybe next time they forget the cause and remember the nuggets bc I’ll have the sauce at home?No I didn’t call bc the nuggets were part of a 4 for $4 and I got the cheeseburger(even though I ordered a jr bacon cheese burger) drink and fries. Maybe they’ll see this maybe not.Don’t be like me, pull in a spot and check your order! Otherwise the temp of the food, attitude of the works is great!

This Wendy’s used to be amazing. Even during the COVID lockdowns, you could go through the drive thru in a reasonable amount of time. They hired good high school aged kids who were hard working and respectful. You would even see the same people working there and they’d recognize you!Now, I don’t know what happened. It’s like they got a new franchise owner or new management. They’re consistently understaffed, and the staff they have isn’t friendly at all. The food is cold and disgusting. There is no dine-in option at all. Sent a complaint to Wendy’s corporate and got no reply. It’s just sad how it’s gone from what it was to what it is today. And all it took was that change in management.

This Wendy's has gone so downhill I'm not sure it's food anymore.Burger was cold and drenched in ketchup and mayo.Chicken wrap was falling apart and made with rubbery gristle.Cheese fries had a tiny dollop of cheese in one corner.Totally disgusting.

This place has always been really bad even for fast food. They've always messed orders up and not given any receipts -- So you can't get a refund.

No one was in line 10am. Had to wait 22mins for my order which wasn't even all in the bag. Called to inform that I was coming back for the food and still had to wait an additional 10 mins and the English muffin egg sausage and cheese was ice cold.

After repeating the order 3 times it was still wrong. I drove back through the drive thru only to deal with a complete idiot (girl with pink hair). First she wanted to make it seem like I messed up only to have the young man who took the order say that's what he ordered, it's right there. Then she was upset that I requested a refund. I was told to pull up and come in, only to wait for her to service 2 other people in the drive thru before taking care of my refund. I asked her who owned the franchise and she said this is Dave's place. I said, I know who started Wendy's, I want to know who owns this one. She said the GM is Charles. Wow!!! And you think you are worth more money? What a joke.

The GM is rude and talks to his employees like they are just clueless. I’ve seen some amazing workers alone in this store, and when he shows up the workers are on eggshells.
