Had such a good time , the food was good and the atmosphere was like walking back in time to your favorite local diner. We had the blue plate special. It was a meat with three sides. We are looking forward to going in to try more things. We live in Baldwin county and this is in Mobile. Well worth our drive. We both got the fried fish.Kid-friendliness: The kids will enjoy the ice cream. Adults too.

You have to try the Dirty Elvis milkshake. Peanut Butter, Chocolate, and banana and it’s so perfectly balanced. God tier milkshake.

My wife and I went out for lunch here today, I decided to surprise her with it because it was somewhere she's never been. Now, I love diners with that 50s look and feel, it just seems more homey than the normal places. When we entered, we were warmly greeted and quickly seated by the courteous staff. After spending some time looking over the menu, we both settled on the small blue plate lunch, with my wife choosing the chopped sirloin, and me choosing the roast beef as our meats. She said that hers was great, while the roast beef I had was a little dry, but the portion was more than generous. Now, the sides were absolutely fantastic, we both had green beans and cornbread, while I had the mashed potatoes, and she had the French fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and quite filling. I'm looking forward to trying other options on the menu in the future!

Wonderful food! The rice and gravy is always on point and the grilled chicken breast was made by the gods! If you go here I promise you will not be disappointed. The food is fantastic and the service is fast and so polite! The restaurant has a cute 1960s vibe and it's not too big or too small. Ms. Debra is an entire auntie and you need to spend lunch time with her! If you go tell her Joy sent you and make sure to tip her well because she is going to take care of you. And don't forget the onion rings with that incomparable ranch!!! They can't be beat! Big Time Diner will always get my money when I'm in Mobile!

Homestyle American fare with fantastic shakes! It has a 50's diner motif with oldies playing gently over the audio system. Service is always good. Their doesn't seem to be any shortage of young folks wanting to work here. Upbeat atmosphere. Good for most occasions. Open for lunch or dinner. It's a shame they don't offer breakfast. Relatively large variety of food for this type of menu offering seafood, gumbo, hot dogs, burgers, fried crab claws, and more.

10 Stars!!Best blue-plate specials and burgers. I go there often. I usually get the burger and fries. But the blue-plate special is always a good option.This week I got the shrimp po-boy. It was 100% delicious. For my drink I had a strawberry milk shake. They hand mix it. OMG!!!! Their shakes are like the ones you use to get.I haven't had anything there that's not awesome. Waitress is always cheerful and polite.UPDATE - Just had the best cheeseburger ever. Posted a picture.
Picked up food today. Chicken was dry lots of green seasoning on it. Turnips tasted like canned. Mac and cheese bland rice and gravy just there. So disappointed. I used to eat there years ago atleast once a week and Fab food. Not anymore.

First time here and I found the food to be very good. I enjoyed nicely cooked fish, green beans with pork and Cole slaw. All of it was very tasty.The service was spot on and the atmosphere was relaxing.I was amused by the Mardi Gras tree!
