Have tried this place. Twice. Each time the steaks were just terrible. They weren't particularly tender and they were seasoned to the point of being almost inedible. (I think that they're seasoning these steaks too far in advance and it's affecting the quality.) Sides and everything else were average, but this is billed as a steak house, and I could cook a better steak at home. Whoever is in charge of the menu clearly does not care about what they are serving to folks. I'd be embarrassed to serve a steak like this to anyone.

I wasn't a fan of sitting so close and out in the open. The table my husband and I were seated at was directly in front of the entrance. Right where people are checking out or waiting to be helped.It was V-day, so of course it was nonstop hustling and bustling.A staff member called to inform us our table was ready. We said ok, we're walking in. (We were literally in the parking lot shutting the doors to our car). As we were approaching, a host? had menus and flatware in her hand, peeked her head out the doors, walked back inside and was telling her coworkers "they're not here. Who's next?" and proceeded to put the menus and stuff aside.My husband stepped up and said "we're right here!" All she said was "oh" and showed us to our seats.I get it. It's probably one of the busiest nights for restaurants, but we were literally about 10ft away when they called us to be seated. Sheesh. Impatient much?Other than that, the parmasean chicken was juicy and flavorful. My mashed potatoes were cold, but good.Our waitress was polite and attentive. Food came out in a timely fashion, Considering how busy they were.Hats off to the employees (all but that one host) because it was absolute chaos and they were on their A game
We always enjoy Briquettes, and this time was no different! Great server! She was so funny and attentive! Our dinner was so good. I forgot to take pictures before we started! Just know, everything was GREAT!! That white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was so good!! ?

Great food. Don't judge my plate LOL We shared the side salad first. The smoky favor of my Briquette Burger was awesome without any sauces at all. My wife got the Half Rack of ribs. She said they were very good!!! I did use some of her barbecue sauce to dip my burger in a couple times. Great lunch!!!!!

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I took my grandson for his 10th birthday. We got there around 4:30. Service was very slow. They cook our steaks the opposite of what we asked. I told the server it was my grandson's birthday and soon after a person bought him a bowl of ice creme but not even a happy birthday.The food had no taste and for the price and service, I would recommend any other steak house located in Mobile, AL.
