We came early for dinner and there were a decent amount of customers already but only 1 person working the front. Raul was running around doing his best to take care of everyone. He was so kind and did a great job. The food was good and came out in a timely manner. Raul is definitely an asset to them.

Great food, this is the best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. The food is fresh and taste great. The service was fantastic and extremely friendly, he even helped me with my crutches. Great place and will definitely be going back.

I was staying at one the nearby hotels, so I thought I'd go over for a beer and something to eat. The beer was fine, but the food? Not so good. They brought out chips and salsa, and the tortilla chips were actually pretty tasty without being greasy at all. But the salsa? It was more like a marinara sauce than anything out of Mexico. It was pretty much plain tomato with maybe a touch of onion.I ordered the ceviche, as I wasn't terribly hungry, and a nice ceviche would go well with the beer. What they brought, though, did not resemble ceviche in the slightest. Yes, it had seafood bits, but not a hint of citrus to be found. They might have boiled it for all the flavor it had. And while it hadn't gone bad or anything, it certainly wasn't at all fresh.I will say that the staff was friendly and attentive, so it's not their fault. The owners need to hire a cook that has tasted Mexican food beyond Taco Bell. Hell, even Taco Bell food is more authentic than this place!

Nice place, few people. The food was delicious, generous dishes, the staff was very friendly, but they didn't have some things we ordered to drink and eat.

The food is always great. It's just always so loud because of drinkers at the bar that it's kind of hard to have a conversation. Our waiter and my husband seemed to have communication

Been wanting La Cocina’s enchiladas for a few days now. Finally saw my opportunity and drove over to the location on Airport. Ended up getting an enchilada + tostada combo. It’s so good. Everything I’ve been wanting. The salsa too! The salsa is absolutely amazing. La Cocina is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Mobile. They’re my comfort place. I highly recommend it. Service was quick. Waitress was amazing. I loved sitting in my little booth in the corner and chilling alone as I shoved my face with food. Super stuffed now, so there’s also that. The portions are great. You won’t be hungry after. Anyway, I highly recommend La Cocina. Go eat there.
