Great food, this is the best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. The food is fresh and taste great. The service was fantastic and extremely friendly, he even helped me with my crutches. Great place and will definitely be going back.

Wife and I dropped in for a quick bite. Pleasantly surprised. LA Cocina has a low key laid back atmosphere reminiscent of Midwest cantina, pleasant and above par service, and the food was well worth the low prices. Highly recommended, we will be back.

I have been eating here for years very bad experiences the past couple times yesterday Was the worst with friends. The service is awful you asked for to go boxes they give you one you want a separate one for your chips they throw a fit you asked for it to go cup they throw a fit and other not friendly at all the ones that used to be friendly or not there anymore

Still hands-down my fave Mexican food in Mobile. Chile Colorado is always on point, but it's hard to miss ordering anything. Delicious salsa too. The place is small and nothing to look at - not even remotely fancy - but the food is always so good. And there are always red and green el yucateco habanero sauces on each table.

Theft of money. Told me one price then charged a different price then added a tip without my knowledge a day later on my card. I will be going in when they open to get a full refund. I'm disappointed in this business.
Been wanting La Cocina’s enchiladas for a few days now. Finally saw my opportunity and drove over to the location on Airport. Ended up getting an enchilada + tostada combo. It’s so good. Everything I’ve been wanting. The salsa too! The salsa is absolutely amazing. La Cocina is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Mobile. They’re my comfort place. I highly recommend it. Service was quick. Waitress was amazing. I loved sitting in my little booth in the corner and chilling alone as I shoved my face with food. Super stuffed now, so there’s also that. The portions are great. You won’t be hungry after.
Anyway, I highly recommend La Cocina. Go eat there.

Terrible food! The ground beef tasted and smelled like dog food. There was a chicken bone in the meal and something that tasted like cleanser. The service was slow even though there were only two people seated. If it weren't a to go order I would have directly shared my disappointment with the staff. This is a sad example of good Mexican food!!
