It hasn't always been this way, but something has changed be it staffing. Impolite, rude staff. Food packaging and taste is tasteless. Management took no accountability and basically raved something completely different from my experience. Hot spud and cold chef salad was packaged together. The female who handed off the order seemed annoyed and was impolite. The email I received as a reply to my complaint was they couldn't refund me because I didn't pay was a little insulting. I never asked for a refund. I was expressing and bringing to their attention my experience. And furthermore I did pay with points that I accumulated from paying for several previous orders. I'm not upset that a refund wasn't given because again that was never my goal or issue. Make it known that the points couldn't be accumulated if I didn't frequent the establishment. Lately, my visitation has been incorrect order filling, sloppy packing and staff, and not the same taste and quality of food.

3 times ago, when I ordered a Togo order, it was absolutely amazing, perfect, delishhh, and perfect portions. But the last 2 previous times I ordered a Togo order, it was horrible. It's like this McAlisters has changed or something, I don't know. The bread wasn't toasted and it was dry. And the portions were definitely smaller. I'm not sure if they've changed their portions, and if they have, that sucks. I just want to pay for something that's worth it and it honestly hasn't been worth it lately. ?

The place is clean and good sandwich. I only ate there once, due to high prices. For $11.00 I can get a whole pound of Boar's Head lunch meat around the corner at Blind Butcher and make my own.

Dinning area is storage area and The New Yorker was cold in the middle. Definitely not Katz deli but it will do in a pinch.
McAlister is a nice 'go to' when one doesn't want to cook. However, they often get the order wrong. You're out of luck if you've paid by a card, get the food home and, find the order wrong, and don't want to go back right then.

I got the pick 2, half sandwich and pecan berry chicken salad. It wasn't bad but I've had better. It was dry. The bread wasn't even toasted. It was just right out of the bag.My husband had the Ruben and potato salad. His bread wasn't toasted either. He said that it was kind of tasteless.We've eaten at other locations before and it was really good and fresh. It must've been an off day at the location.

I love coming to 1071 McAlister Deli. I go there every 2 weeks it's one shift leader . there is very nice and kind she come to check on me every time I'm there. I thank she said her name was Q, and she stayed trying to make sure I had everything I needed. she is such a wonderful and sweet person
