I had the oxtails and while they were flavorful they were a bit pricey and the portions didn't match the price...I get it that prices have gone up but I felt I should have gotten more for the price...The customer service was good though.

We had fried fish and grilled fish. Both were good. Also had the grits and some greens. The grits were good. I do not recommend the cheese grits though. The greens weren't bad. They had a little sweetness to it. The green beans were not my favorite either. The Mac and cheese was okay. The candy yams were okay. They are really nice and really sweet.. The service was excellent. They said they were getting ready to change locations. They had a good variety of soul food items. They have a mango juice also that is really sweet.

Rip off. Payed $32 for for an ox tail plate and got 2 little bitty ox tails with no meat and big one mostly fat. And the Lima beans were cold after waiting 30 minutes for my food.

Went here looking for some good breakfast and really didn’t get it. Leaving two stars because the lady was nice. The biscuits were burnt and the grits were subpar and the lemonade was ok but barely got any since the whole cup was filled with ice. Not planning on going back.

This locations has wonderful workers ! The owner is so nice and very caring about what your needs are. Every time I come it’s the same great energy I look for . I’ll definitely continue coming here.

Catered my mother's 80th birthday party. The staff was very professional and friendly. The service was exceptional. Last, but not least, the food was absolutely delightful.

The kids couldn't agree on where to eat, so we said, "The next place we see, we're going to." We are glad we stumbled into this one! Definitely soul food so be ready for a nap afterward. The greens were perfect, and all of the kids liked their food (biscuits and gravy, a juicy burger, and chicken tenders). My husband and I tried the grilled pork chop and the roast beef and rice. The pork chop was great! The roast beef was good, but the only two negatives were that it was a bit lacking in flavor and both it and the rice needed to be cooked longer. That was the only meal we were not 100% satisfied with, so still giving 4 stars! Also, the man working the register was very friendly and helpful. Oh, and try the red velvet cake!
