I genuinely believe Alabama has the best soul food in the country, and places like Taste of Heaven are why. I have never in my life had wings that were fall off the bone yet crispy, until I ate here. The staff was very friendly and the carrot cake might have been the best I ever had. Definitely recommend.

The collard greens were too sweet and we were expecting homestyle potato salad with our food yet we got “loaded” potato salad with ranch dressing, carrots and more. The mac and cheese was basically cheese-less & loose, and the meat portion for the dinner meals are very small.

A Taste Of Heaven has the BEST soul food that I have ever eaten. They are clean, fast, extremely friendly family owned and operated restaurant. Thursday's Turkey & dressing is my favorite, but it's all good! Just try it, they will NOT disappoint, then spread the word. The best advertisement is word of mouth.

This was my first time going to Taste of Heaven Cafe and the owner was so warm and welcoming when I walked in the door. I ordered the honey lemon pepper chicken wings, Mac and cheese, collared greens, and banana pudding. The food was delicious. The macaroni and cheese tasted freshly made and had a rich cheesy sauce, the wings had the just the right amount of seasoning and weren't overly greasy, and the banana pudding was the perfect sweet treat.
