This place was amazing!! Our server Kelci started by telling us about all the amazing things Texas de Brazil offers. We started with the salad bar, but this is no ordinary salad bar. Its has cheeses, sushi, rice, olives, ect, but the lobster bisque was outstanding. Highly recommend.

They are not ready to reopen. The modified from buffet style to bring you what you request from the back. Servers were not trained for the change. 45 mins to get 1st meat. About 10 minuet wait from when you finished a round to the next meat arrived. Had to get up twice for silverware and more meat after 15 mins.

Can't say enough good things! We come here as often as we can. The staff is 10/10, the food is amazing, the meats are always flowing. We never feel unsatisfied, and we've come here 30+ times. Our go to server used to be Yanni (who is now one of the managers and very much deserves his new position). Now Matt is our boy- he remembers you, remembers what you drink/order, has such a positive attitude, and you can tell he really loves his job. He really is one of those guys you meet, and he impacts your week, by his light. We also very much LOVE Juan! He is so friendly, remembers you, makes you feel welcome, and makes sure you are fully satisfied with your meal and experience. Highly recommend this restaurant. One more plus; Veteran and military discounts!!! A company that appreciated service members is an A+ in our book!

While walking around downtown Mobile decided to drop into one of my favorite places that I hadn't been to in a long while. I had the shrimp and grits with fried ocra and the cucumber salad. Walked away stuffed and happy. I was very lucky because there was a parking place available on Dauphin Street directly outside the restaurant.

The food was absolutely amazing. The salad bar was so unique and the variety of meat pass arounds was awesome. Yet I was VERY disappointed in the service. Our server, Ashley, was very nice and polite. But, I made reservations for me and my boyfriends 3 year anniversary and we only saw our server a handful of times. We planned on having drinks and hanging out for a while. At first we ordered a round of beers. After the first round, my boyfriend ordered one more beer and we never saw our server after that. I was only able to order 1 beer and my boyfriend 2 the entire 2 hours we were there. After that, we finished eating and sat at our table for a good while waiting for our check to come out. It almost felt as if we were not even acknowledged. I made reservations knowing the prices of the meals but was very disappointed with the service we got along with the meals. :/

The staff was awesome...Miles our lead server was very professional and an awesome host for my sisters birthday party this evening...he literally was everywhere, that made for him to be very attentive to our table which was extremely appreciated...way to go Miles and thank for one of the best first impressions that I have had for a restaurant in long time!!
We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. From the time we arrived, until we left, the staff did an outstanding job of making our evening fabulous. The food and atmosphere were also second to none. We will return

We went here for dinner around 5:30pm on Friday. The atmosphere was great, food was great, and our server (Miles) was the greatest part of our experience. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and what the restaurant had to offer. He was very patient with us. Very enjoyable experience. We will be back and we highly recommend Miles.

We came here for the first time, for my birthday dinner, and was extremely impressed. Everything was delicious, fresh and just perfect. Our server, Ashley, was the best. Thank you all for helping make my birthday dinner amazing.

I've been to Fogo de Chao in Atlanta so I can make some comparisons here. Pros No wait of you reserve a table ahead. Staff is very friendly Salad bar is free Drinks (alcohol) are nice I loved the salad options, and lobster soup was the most delicious thing at the whole place. Cons Wasn't fan of the meats (taste and selection options) So the meats weren't great, I expected more of filet mignon or the lamb. I liked the chicken in bacon and parmesan pork. But in the restaurant like this you come for meat. I could get a nice pork in any other place waaay cheaper than here and moreover take a to go box. The price is less than Fogo de Chao. We got a bill for $85 for 2 people during dinner time, not counting drinks or alcohol. So it's around $45 for person during dinner time at Texas. In Fogo it's 100 per person for lunch there and 150-200 for dinner (same not counting drinks). But you pay for quality of the meats. In Fogo meats are astonishingly delicious. In Texas it was okay. So it's good to try cause there is no Fogo in Mobile, but I will not come again. With that being said, staff was great and the looks and the feel of the restaurant was great. It's the meat that is taking points off.
THIS Texas de Brazil does not favorable compare with the others in Memphis and Chicago area. The salad bar is sparse, most of the meats medium grade and the ambiance spartan. Nice restaurant but not comparable to Ruth Chris for a similar price. They need to up their game.
