Super cute little place, great atmosphere! We stopped here passing through and were not disappointed! Our server, Megan, was fantastic and the food was phenomenal - generous portions and reasonably priced! Highly recommend the Lasagna and the Grilled & Dilled Mahi.

I’ve never been to the Sunday brunch before!! We sat outside and the weather was nice! The shrimp on the banh mi was fishy, but the pork belly was great. Anyone at the table who got cheese grits felt they were kind of mid since it wasn’t cheesy and a bit dry. Those who got pancakes said it was a bit rubbery, like maybe the baking powder expired? The service was great and attentive! The table favorites were avocado fries, stuffed beignets, and pimento cheese. The apps were better than the meals, but overall still very delicious. Espresso martini was the table favorite, hands down!

Nice local eatery with a convenient location. We went for lunch and it was not busy at all. The service was quick and thoughtful. The food was decent but there are better burgers in town. There was nothing wrong with the burger but it did nothing to set itself apart from the competition.

Table was a little sticky, but over all else, that was a minor gripe. Amazing food.

Food was delicious and different than the ordinary menu for the area. Very friendly owner and staff ; also nice wine list. The location is just a touch off the main venue but well worth a visit.

It’s an experience. My server was cool. It was a chill atmosphere. They have these giant mozzarella sticks that were so good. I got a chili cheese burger. It was okay. I wouldn’t get it again. I’d try this place again but definitely get something different to eat.

We really enjoyed the food; gumbo met the NOLa standard, fried pickles were on point ,Mahi was great, although the sweet dill sauce wasnt a great pairing,BUT the service was very weak! As a 40+ food service worker I am incredibly patient ,but for a slow afternoon, the inattentive tag team has got to be better.Instead chatting it up with bar guests seemed to be more important that service & refills.

Traveling through Mobile. My wife read the name of the restaurant and directed me to the restaurant. She posted on Facebook that she took her jackals to The Blind Mule. The Blind Mule Bake linguine sauce has a thick shrimp bisque flavor. We loved it. If you like lobster bisque type soup, you will not be disappointed! The mushroom appetizer with horseradish side sauce were the best mushrooms have had in years. After so many disappointments with "fresh" freshly-heated mushrooms, we often just by pass trying them. Our waitress stress they were delightful. I will not say she was wrong, just understated how good they are. Truly hand battered and fried. WOW!!! Unfortunately, fried mushrooms were redeemed across the board, however, we already expect to be disappointed eating them elsewhere. Their side salad with in house ranch dressing will not disappoint either. FYI, I took a short break in eating our meal to capture our experience. Added: How fresh our their in house beignet, wife suggested to them in half to cool... YUM!!!

The shrimp and grits were heavenly. I would go back just to have them again. The crawfish Benedict, on the other hand, was not good. The fried egg was cooked hard, the English muffin was overcooked, not enough sauce, worst fried green tomato I’ve ever had. The whole dish was dry with no taste. The service was incredibly slow. Just a matter of the restaurant being crowded and the waitress not knowing how to wait tables. We’d already been waiting 30 minutes to place our order. She finally takes it and then goes straight to another table (these people had just come in), and takes their order, too. You can guess whose food came out first. The staff was friendly, however. I’d go back, just for the shrimp and grits, and I’d remember to expect slow service.

We walked in and the place was empty. The sign said they were open. No one ever came to us. No idea what this place was suppose to be.

Stopped in for a “snack” to hold me over until returning home for dinner. What a charming hole-in-the-wall type place! Ordered a cup of gumbo and it was phenomenal, although a tad heavy on the rice. Wonderful taste and had multiple large shrimp in it as well as Conecuh sausage; the roux tasted delicious. The waitress was adorable and very attentive. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!
