A non-verbal greeter and 5 employees complaining about the world 6 feet from your table always a recipe for a good experience. A very stark contrast to Noja or Royal Scam, which has their staff on point. Literally shocked that this was recommended to us.

Wagyu Burger is probably the best burger in Mobile and based on the price of other lunch options downtown it's a pretty good

Dinner and service was both top notch. The pickled shrimp appetizer was so good I ordered a second one. This is a great place for a drink or dinner before a concert at the Saenger.

The Chef’s food palate lacks depth in my opinion. The Prime Rib wasn’t a good cut of meat. Walmart quality meat department choice but at best!

Food was okay. The menu presented at dinner was not the same menu listed online. There were only about 4-5 entree options to choose from and if you’re a picky eater you will not like any of them. My husband and I enjoyed dinner and can now say we’ve been but I do not believe we will be back.

The food was delicious especially enjoyed the Tres Leches Cake for dessert. Lovely restaurant and we had the best seat in the house right beside front window. Our server was friendly and very attentive. Will definitely go back!

Amazing service from the staff at The Noble South. Drinks were full and food was served quick. Smash burger was good but a little saltier than I like. The side of Mac n Cheese was warm but cheesy.

Although the deviled eggs weren't my favorite im not going to dock a star. Everything else was amazing. I had the cobia dish and husband has the duck. The flavor for both were good ( assuming the duck was bc he finished it). The drinks were good. Our server Evangeline was very attentive. This is a good place for a date night or a catchup with a gf or two. I would definitely recommend.

We had an 11:00 am reservation for lunch on 02/16/24. We did not receive a friendly/welcoming greeting by the hostess. For a snack appetizer we ordered the Deviled Eggs. We have had better. They are mayo dominant to say the least. Moving on to the entrees. My wife ordered the fried catfish with mac & cheese and cornbread. She would have liked her catfish to have been seasoned better. She was impressed with the mac and cheese as it did not need any additional seasoning. She usually has to add salt/pepper to her mac and cheese when we eat out. She did not care for the heirloom cornbread. I ordered the beef tips and rice with 3 sides. My sides were the cauliflower bisque, glazed carrots, and heirloom cornbread. The beef tips and rice were very good. I would describe it as being more of a beef stew than a traditional beef tips and rice. The cauliflower bisque was excellent. However, this is where they dropped the ball. I asked our server who I believe was Micah R. based on our receipt did it have shellfish in it. She said she would check. She did not think it did. She never followed up to confirm. This is a major training issue. Food allergies are a real thing. A restaurant should now how their dishes are made and be able to communicate it immediately. I liked the heirloom cornbread. I ate the rest of my wife's. She ate the rest of my cauliflower bisque as I did not want to have an ER visit. The glazed carrots were good. The ambiance was nice.

We were seated in the ‘sidecar lounge.' A separate dining room that was next door to the main dining room and next door to the vale and liquor store. The wait staff had to leave our dining room and go back outside and then back to the main dining room. It took awhile to get served and you are left alone in the sidecar lounge. It's very quaint if you don't mind waiting for your server to come back to get what you need.

Food was really good, but service was poor. Our server seemed like she was bothered to wait on us. Probably won't go back just for that. Lots of good restaurants in the downtown area with great service.

The service, atmosphere was first class. Food was excellent. Portions was a bit small, I got the duck breast, I got one tiny strip out of one breast. Overall the meal was very tasteful. Wife got the quail, it was very good, again small portion, but very good.

Back here for the first time in a while, and enjoyed a meal at least as good if not better than the several others we've had there. Wonderful, thoughtfully conceived collection of delicious, interesting dishes.
