I would have thought this place would have closed a lot sooner and not just because of the pandemic. Latest visit, I I tried 3 different sushi rolls that were all bland. The General's chicken was dry and inedible. The Thai coconut soup tasted of nothing but lemon grass. My picky eating child normally does not like oriental food but he actually ate this and had no complaints, so go figure.

We are very happy to have had a wonderful lunch here. But sad that Von is closing for good as of 1 May, 2021. Our Ramen Special and BLT were great. Very sorry that this is the End. Good Luck to all.

My husband and I loved Von's Bistro! I ordered the Phad Tai nachos and he had shrimp and grits. Both of our meals were wonderful and we will definitely be back!

I've now visited for lunch, during a stop on the Bienville Bites Food Tour, and also for brunch! I've got to give it up, my experiences are above average every, single visit! The staff is wonderful and very attentive, the food is phenomenal, the Pho is out of this world! you won't be disappointed!

I love yalls food, but I can only eat here on the weekends, I work. But yall have changed your hours. Im so disappointed. I don't understand why you would close on Saturday. I understand you did this initially for COVID but other business are now open, and you can operate safely. Please rethink your hrs of operation.

We are vendors at the Junior League's Jubilee Fair. Typically we ate unable to eat, but due to COVID19 we had a 2 hour break which enabled us to have lunch at this terrific nbn Mobile hot spot. I had the Asian Salad with shrimp and my sister had a curry bowl with shrimp. Both dishes were amazing. I highly recommend Von's Bistro Cafe!

We go here whenever we are downtown, it's absolutely amazing! My favorite is the Thai curry bowl, super flavorful, big portion and tastes fresh. Despite being busy when we visit the wait staff are great and the waiting time is short. Highly recommend going and trying!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Mobile! The Asian Jambalaya is my go-to! Fresh gulf shrimp, Conecuh sausage, and lemongrass chicken mixed with rice. You will not be disappointed! Very friendly servers and an all around great experience!

Was recommended that we visit. Pad Thai nachos were unique, but bland. Crab wontons had very little filling. Drunken nachos were too sweet and had no spice. Meh! Won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend to others.
