“My dad grew up eating at Mel’s.. and it was always the first stop he made when we came to town to visit, or just passing through. He’s gone now.. but now as an adult, I continue the tradition with my own children whenever I’m in town.. Always a steak sandwich & fries with a sweet tea.. although after taking a bite of my boyfriend’s shrimp po boy today, I might have to order both next time ??.“
“Everything at Sonic was nice except the fact I had not eaten all day and asked could I have my food cooked hot, well it came out very fast and I knew it couldn't have been cooked hot and it was warm. I was very disappointed and haven't been back. I will give them another chance later on.“

It's a place you could stay for a few hours and enjoy the company of strangers and leave not only feeling full and satisfied but also excited about those new people you met.Parking: There was plenty of street parking. If an event is happening downtown you may run into issues finding parking.“
