If there were a zero option, I would have chosen it! Only a 1 so that I could make a review. I show up at 8:45 to only go in to an empty store and wait 10 minutes before a newer employee comes from the back into the lobby. She then goes back into the back and around behind the counter and begins my first 2 out of 5 sandwiches. After she gets those 2 heated, another employee that I later find out is the night time shift leader comes out from either the back or the restroom with another lady that wasn’t working there. They were fixing there clothing, which made it look as if they had been doing something sexual. Then this leader lady asks me how many more sandwiches I had and what they were. I explained to her that I couldn’t tell her and the newer lady what I needed at the same time as I had 3 different texts on my phone of different sandwiches. The shift leader then gets rude with me and ends up taking 2 other orders and preparing them. Even after I kindly tell her between the two what my fifth sandwich is so that I can get finished with my order and get out of there. Before my last sandwich is even started the shift leader has taken up the whole vegetable and sauce side! The newer lady has to dig through all of them to even find the few extra things that I wanted on my sandwich. At 9:05 was telling customers that the store was closed and the man behind me actually locked the door for her. Obviously from other reviews, this is not the first time this has happened! Something definitely needs to be done about this store! On the door it plainly says they close at 9:30 not 9:00! Also to add, I got charged $5.00 extra for extra meat when there was no extra meat stated or on the sandwich, they were very stingy with everything!

Can't grasp the hours or when they are open. Not the first time but I show up to this location at about 8:35 on Saturday night. The stores hours says open till 10 p.m. All the lights were on but the doors were locked. ONLY IN MONTEVALLO. ....

Only 1 person running the entire store. Took me 35 minutes to get a simple ham and cheese sandwich. Hire more people!!!! And pay your existing employees more!!!!

Wow what a major improvement. Stopped by after not visiting for a while and noticed some amazing changes immediately. Staff was superb and moved with urgency. The new manager Jesse is doing a great job bringing this subway back to life. Food was great and service was again wonderful.

They cant read. This is the second time I ordered pickup n they completely messed up the sandwiches. Biggest mess up today: they forgot the Ham. I can really taste the cheese n the cucumber that wasnt suppose to be there. I like Subway but I waited 15 mins to pick up (it said my food was ready online). Got to the store waited 10 mins (no my food wasnt even started) then another 30 for them to make it. They asked questions and still got it wrong.

Stopped today 1:40 ordered a meal. When up to pay I was asked if I wanted chips and my reply was I want the meal deal. He said"YOU DONT HAVE TO BE SMART" IM 4 TIMES HIS AGE. He was very very rude. Needless to say I walked out without the food. Sad for my old hometown to be represented that way . He needs to be retrained or let go!! We will not be back!

It's always something at the Montevallo location, no sweet tea made, ice machine don't work, food not toasted long enough, knew I should have made the drive to Calera subway,never a problem there.

Quite literally the WORST Subway. The staff is rude. Tonight my husband went in to get our order and received nothing! When he asked for a refund they refused and so we left without our money and without any food.

This is the second time I've been disappointed at this location. You would think that people would be able to read an order and execute it, right? Wrong, so very, very wrong. I'm not expect a genius to be making the food, but when "Melt" is in the name you would expect it to be toasted, or hell I'll settle for room temp, but a cold Steak and Cheese MELT!!! WTF
