My expectations were on the floor and this Captain D’s managed to find the basement. Took so long to order that the dude behind me literally got out of his car and walked up to the window. Lady in the drive thru told me I could add a drink for $1.99 and then charged me $3.39. She literally made no mention of the insanely long wait and offered literally no apology whatsoever. Literally paid almost $20 for some rubbery shrimp, a potato that tasted like they’d dropped it on the floor, and the teensiest serving of broccoli I’ve ever seen. The only good thing in my meal was the bread and honestly I’m surprised they didn’t mess it up. Honestly I see this place having the same fate as the Burger King next to it.

So on Sunday the 20th of August I walked into this Captain D'S to get myself some food and I was surprised to see the cashier serving this young man with no shirt on in a food establishment she even had some issues cashing out his order and she called the manager who came and took care of the transaction and she too didn't have a problem with this. I guess something must be wrong with me and a few other customers who all had disgusting look on their faces. CAPTAIN D'S AT 949 W SOUTH BLVD MONTGOMERY ALABAMA YOU SHOULD NOT BE SERVING ANYONE WITH NO SHIRT ON IN YOUR RESTAURANT PLEASE DO BETTER AND RESPECT YOURSELVES AND YOUR CUSTOMERS!!

The experience was terrible. The box of food we were given today had multiple pieces of hair on it. The meal that was given was incorrect, then proceeded to tell me what I ordered was not on the menu when I was looking right at the combo. The took a long time due to them not wanting to fix the issue. I was only passing through here and I will not be returning to this poor customer service.
Overall a good place to eat. I've had better Captain D's, but don't let that discourage you from going here. Still worth the money.

I arrived at the Captain D’s on the West South Blvd in Montgomery at 10:30 AM, there was a car in the drive thru already. The car ahead of me pulled off and I pulled up. I waited for 5 minutes and repeatedly said “hello” then finally drove to the front and attempted to open the door but it was locked. I knocked on the window and know I saw an employee hurriedly walk to the back. I continued to wait and no one ever came to unlock the door. During this time I witnessed 2 more cars pull up and leave the drive thru. I went around to the drive thru once more and finally decided to leave at 10:47 AM. As I was pulling around the front again I saw an elderly couple knocking on the drive thru window. This is absolutely unacceptable Captain D’s!

Went to this location on 4/20/2023. The line was a bit long. I wait for at least 10 minutes before the car in front of me drove off. Then another 5 minutes I took off. I really wanted that fish.
