Quaint little BarBQ place in downtown Montgomery with a fairly good menu. Meat was tasty but the sides were standard. Like every place else, the price is higher than I believe it should be. The service was good, staff friendly, and atmosphere was ok. Not military or veteran friendly but bathroom was clean.

Ok BBQ. Service was slow, waited over 10 minutes before we were greeted on a slow night. Our table ordered a full rack of ribs and coleslaw, plus a mixed plate with coleslaw. The order came with no coleslaw and a side of fried okra instead, which the server corrected. Ribs were mostly good, but end pieces were inedible (dry and hard like a rock), like the rack had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.

First time visiting and I was very impressed! Not by the Hostess, was on her phone and seemed annoyed that I walked in!The atmosphere is wonderful for an old Hardware Store that was the original inhabitant of this building!I ordered the Ultimate BBQ Plate w/ two sides! I got ribs ( Comes with 3), Chopped BBQ pork and Chopped Chicken with Mayo based Coleslaw, Mustard based Potato Salad and Mac & Cheese, it also came with one slice of Sunbeam bread! It should come with at least two or three in my opinion! I asked for more and got it for no charge! And the BBQ sauce is served on the side and is hot! Temperature hot and spicy hot!! Also had the best Sweet Tea I've had in quite a while!Ka' Shauna B was the name on my receipt but not sure if she was my waitress but whomever she was she was very good and super friendly!Parking: After 4:30-5pm parking is free downtown where they have parking meters!

Best BBQ in Alabama! We have been traveling in this beautiful state for the past couple weeks and after trying other BBQ restaurants with 4 plus stars reviews, we can surely say that Dreamland was by far the best BBQ we have tried, aside the great service provided.

Can't really share anything because when we went they were not busy at all there was no wait for a table.we got seated as soon as we walked in sat there for about 15-20 min.and not 1 person even acknowledge us .. needless to say we won't be back and that is disappointing to us because we liked this place

I tried this joint for the second time. Nothing improved. The food quality is bad, both meat and sides. I've had better barbecue from the frozen food section at H.E B. grocery store in Texas. Dreamland is a 60 year mistake. They certainly can't compete with Texas brisket, pork, chicken and ribs. The next time you are in Texas, go to Rudy's. When in Montgomery, go to another restaurant other than this nightmare called Dreamland

Delicious food and great place to spend some time with friends and family. I had a 3 meat platter and the hickory sausage sharing platter. The ribs, pork, and chicken were very dry and needed the BBQ sauce. The ribs were dissapointing since the meat did not fall off the bone like the OG Tuscaloosa location. The hickory sausage was delicious and very much worth a meal in itself. The mac and cheese was good. The house made chips were good when they were crispy, but some were soggy from the meat on them. The BBQ sauce is really good and potent, defiantly worth taking a jar home. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The toilets are clean.

I wanted to give this restaurant a fair review so that people can make an informed decision before dining here. We were looking forward to this because the reviews looked so good but honestly we were underwhelmed. The portions are large but the food was just ok tasting. Also the food was cold so maybe we were the end of the lunch rush and got what was left over? The server was also ok, not rude but not friendly, kind of robotic. It was pricey too, for 3 meals and 2 apps was $85 and this was without any alcoholic beverages.

Really didn't like the BBQ. The chopped chicken was dry and bland, I don't remember the rib tips (seemed more like pulled pork), and the ribs were tough. The fries were more like limp. The baked beans were fine though I still don't understand why the slice of bread was included (placed on top so it didn't soak up anything). No issues with the server and the price was offensive but a lot of room to improve the food.

A nice grill restaurant with a good atmosphere and good service. It's quick and filling.Special mention for the children's menu which is inexpensive and just the right quantity.

The restaurant is located just behind the stadium so very well placed. The prices are very reasonable and the quantities are more than sufficient.A children's menu is available.Very good service.Several TV screens are arranged to follow sports broadcasts.

The pulled pork is as good as you’d expect it to be. The baked beans, I can make better if I’m honest.
