Me and wifey had a nice experience. We ordered dirty martini, wine, pan seared flounder, the shrimp app, Mac and cheese, and beignets.

We had the best waitress and atmosphere was so fun! Everyone loved what they ordered- drinks and food. We wish we had saved room for the beignets! Definitely will order next time. Looking forward to going back!

My wife and I love Frenchie’s, and it’s become our go-to spot for a nice night out in the Montgomery area. We typically order a couple of appetizers, a salad, an entree, and a dessert, and we share each course between the two of us. We ate there earlier this week and our waitress offered to split the entree and salad into two plates for us, which we thanked her for doing. When we received the bill, this service came with a $10 charge, which we were not expecting. Love the place, but it’s bad service and bad business to do this kind of thing without being up-front about it.

Just do not go. Not sure what the menu conveys. Steak frites with fries, a ham sandwich, or mussels for dinner? Its not american, french, southern, or any combination of any sort. Its 'meh' at best and no value for what is charged.

First off, the food was very good. Also, our waitress, who was only in her third day of training was very attentive and courteous. A minor thing was that they still had there air conditioning on, even though it was 50 degrees out. and they had difficulty turning ot off as it continued to restart blowing cold air on us during our meal. The only major negative was that they only had one bartender, who apparently likes to take his sweet time. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine to go with our dinner, but after 20-30 minutes of waiting, I told our server to cancel it and box up my food as it was now cold. Since my wife had a cold salad, she continued to wait for the wine. To top it off, they told me that they would take off the drink that never arrived, like they were doing me a favor, LOL. I still tipped our server 30% since she kept my only drink, water, filled during the wait.My tip: eat at the bar because #1: no reservation needed, #2: drink service will be much faster. Note: I watched the bartender make several (6-8) mixed drinks while I waited for an on-tap beer. My only guess is that the bar patron tips go 100% to the bartender, whereas the table service tips are split with the servers.Yes we will go again, no I wouldn't make a reservation nor sit at a table where food and drink are on different schedules.

Beautiful restaurant, great wait staff, but horrible food. Crab and avocado salad was horrible- old avocado and NO jumbo limp crab (very unattractive soupy mess) smoked trout dip - not smoked. Overall, all the orders lacked flavor and appeal. The one star is for the wait staff.

Fabulous addition to the restaurant scene in Montgomery. The French Onion soup is to die for!! Service was amazing and overall a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back

This is a good, new, locally owned restaurant, cool interior-darkly lit, good outdoor seating. The food was good. I enjoyed the flounder, potatoes and green beans. Others has the chicken dish which was highly recommended. The filet was good. Good, simple, wine selections. Good drink menu. The service was very good.

I had the New Orleans inspired special with scallops. It was amazing. Her burger and fries were also great. Love the atmosphere.

Usually only 1 "French" cuisine dinner offered, if you don't count the Croque Mosieur (ham and cheese sandwich) a standard menu option.
