This place is a hidden gem! I went there yesterday with my daughter, during the break time in her chess tournament nearby. It looks unassuming from outside, but the food is amazing, the people are warm and welcoming, and the prices are good. We both ate the vegetarian burritos. This was the best Mexican food I've eaten in Alabama. Fresh and delicious.Vegetarian options: The menu did not have a vegetarian section, but we mentioned that we wanted vegetarian burritos and they prepared us the best vegetarian burrito I've eaten. The servers were great btw. If you are vegetarian, don't hesitate to go to this place.

Carlos and his staff have created a fantastic local feel with the best menu! The food is very clean, and doesn’t give you that heavy feeling! Everything is made fresh daily! Don’t forget to try the burger and the ribs/barbecue on Fridays and Saturdays! You won’t regret visiting this hidden gem!

We decided to try this place at the recommendation of my co worker that lives nearby in Pike Road. Being from California, I've only found one or two local Mexican restaurants that I actually consider good. I can say that this is one of them.From the Mexican music playing in the background to the menu options, it was a good blend of Mexican and southern fare. I can't say that I've ever seen brisket or bread pudding served at a Mexican restaurant. But hey, I'm in Alabama.I had an al pastor, lengua and carnitas taco, beans and rice. The carnitas and lengua were fantastic!! Wonderful flavor. The salsa we were given with the chips was the best we've had since moving here. The tortillas are hand made and very fresh!! Tasted great!! My dinner mate had the fajitas. He rated them an 8 out of 10 for this side of the Rockies. Yes, Mexican food on the west coast is definitely more authentic, but, this is very close to that. If you are in Pike Road, definitely go to this restaurant. Oh, and I have to say, bravo on the bread pudding. I don't normally even like bread pudding. Yeah, the best bread pudding at a Mexican restaurant!!!Our server was great, too!! Overall, fantástico servicio y excelente comida!!We will be back!!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! We went for a quick lunch date from traveling, and it was really worth it. I know when my partner and I go to eat Mexican food our stomachs feels good while we eat and then it hurts for hours after. HERE that was not the case! The food was beyond my expectations. The atmosphere, food, and people were nostalgic for me and made me feel like I was at my bougie tias house.

This place is excellent! The best salsa, cheese dip, and pollo loco I’ve had. The staff is great and a cool vibe. It is a must try if you’re a local or just traveling through.
We were driving through the area and chose this restaurant because it had high ratings. The food was excellent. Better than any other restaurant Mexican restaurant I have been to. I do plan to return whenever I am in the area again. It was so good!!!!

We met our kids there. One goes to Huntingdon and one goes to Auburn. We LOVED this place! we shall return! The food was delicious and very fresh tasting. The place was clean and the service was also very good. I HIGHLY recommend it! Also, a cute little store next door with neat antique stuff called Junktiques. Check it out.
I Stumbled across this awesome restaurant on yelp looking for a good place to eat between Auburn and Montgomery. I had the Brisket Burrito and Chori Queso they were both great. The service was fast and atmosphere was nice. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other options on the menu!!
