Surprisingly the best hotdog you will find anywhere around. We went in not long before closing and was expecting a not so pleasant experience. Boy were we wrong. Our order was taken quickly, food was prepared hot and fresh and brought out to us quickly. We were asked if we needed anything else when it arrived. The best beef hotdog (ShackDog), I'd stack it up against any other. Thanks team for the great late dining experience.

I just left this location in Montgomery Alabama. I went in to place an order. I walked in with my small Maltese puppy in my arms. A young man stated to me I assume he works there never introduced his self just said that he was going to have to ask me to leave because of my dog, not knowing what type issues I have for the reason my dog is with me. I stated to him that I don’t have to do none of the above. He stated because my dog didn’t have on a vest that I had to leave the facility was so upset that I did not pull my phone out to record him Which I should have because I feel like he discriminated against me my race did not have a reason to ask me to leave the facility at all but if this is the type of behavior, Shane rib shack excepts, I would never ever step foot in that location again.

My food was awful!!! Just absolutely awful!! Those ribs are precooked days before and they are dry and hard. The Mac n cheese is straight out of the can no taste at all. And be careful with the potato salad, mine tasted like it came out of a pre packed container and it was spoiled. It has a month old past the expiration date spoiled taste. And their prices are extremely high for such poor quality food. Never will I ever eat here again!!

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. That has changed. Nowadays, this location takes shortcuts to prepare the food; so it's likely your meal won't be up to standards AT ALL and they do not trust long-time customer's word when you call to let them know the food was awful. You might even get a debate when you tell them exactly what you ordered. They require you to bring the food back before they even consider making it right. Order at your own risk.

Update on 12-20-23: I still love their BBQ pork, but I was feeling adventurous and decided to try another item on their menu. I ordered 3 chicken tenders, along with sweet potato fries (for a small upcharge). I was amazed at how large the tenders were, and they were delicious! I could only eat 2 of the tenders, but believe me, I took the remaining one home. The sweet potato fries were also delicious, there were just too many to eat!(5 years ago) The BBQ pork alone is reason enough to come here! But guess what? Their sides and desserts are awesome as well! Don't take my word for it - try them out for yourself.

We were just passing through and ordered on Uber eats, this was some of the best BBQ we've had!! Hubby got the shack sampler and I got the 2 meat with ribs and smoked wings! The meat was great and so were the sides! Very enjoyable meal!!!

I just purchased a half rack of rib from them. I drove home and my husband tried eating the ribs but they were tough. I tried too and I agreed with him. I called Shane back and politely said the ribs were tough and I did not expect the response. The manger said that the food was order @ 12:02 pm and I am just calling back over an hour and the ribs are tough cold. what kind of response it that? I will never order from them again.

So after going to Shane's for a few years now they have, lost a little bit of their luster. It literally hurts my feelings to say that!! However, they really gotta step it up on the quality & quantity of fries in an order. The BBQ meat is still really good and the service is good as well, but several cool fries are not gonna win some return customers.

I am in the hospitality industry and I went into Shane's Rib shack on Atlanta Hwy. I was met by one of the RUDEST managers. I wouldn't recommend my dead dog to patronize this place. I don't play the race card but, this young WHITE manager is the worst representative for your brand!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the rib lunch basket. The ribs were not warm at all. The waiter was apologetic and brought out freshly grilled ribs within a few minutes. Great customer service. I was a little disappointed in the food, though, since the ribs were a bit dry. The BBQ sauce is delicious, though!
