Our waitress was outstanding! She always checking to see if we needed anything. The gentleman who showed us to our table was amazing. Our food was great and our waitress suggested a wonderful wine and since we enjoyed it so much she wrote down the name of the wine.

The house was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. It was beautiful and elegant! I was nervous to try this restaurant, but I am so glad that I did! The service was amazing. It wasn’t too overcrowded the seating was perfect. I had to change my reservation times a few times. But that wasn’t an issue for them once I arrived. We were treated so nicely. The food was well cooked and so hot and fresh! I can’t express enough how important that is to me. I never mind spending a good amount of money on food. I do expect it to be worth it. Dinner her was more than worth it. I made a risky choice choosing soul food because I’m a great cook in that area. So, I knew I would be critical, but that’s all apart of having a true and honest review. It did not disappoint at all. No corrections needed at all. I had the amazing opportunity to meet the executive chef Chris. He wanted to check in on our experience and how the food was. It was such an honor. This was my first time here and it won’t be the last at all. If you ever visit this place you will not be let down.Parking: Parking isn’t an issue depending on the timing you go.

I would have rated a lot higher on service; however, we had to wait beyond our reservation time. We had to keep going and asking and checking because the tables were clear and no one was being seated. Eventually, they started sitting people and others were seated ahead of us. A little frustrating... However, the service was seated was superb.

The Low Country Shrimp and Grits was absolutely delicious! If I'd had any of those warm, soft rolls left, I would have cleaned my plate with them...lol. Thank you for the great experience as a first timer to this restaurant!

Excellent food and service! Nice touch to speak with the chef at the table. Noise level from the adjoining hotel was distracting. In all fairness this wasn't something the restaurant could help. It seems the hotel was probably hosting a youth volleyball tournament.

It's a favorite go to spot for my husband and me.

Although we had dinner near closing time, I have never been to a restaurant ( fine dining) where my waiter made me feel extremely unwelcome and he seemed put out by us being there! He was rude and did not seem to even care to wait on us. When I asked him a question he answered me by saying, “ you told me that already”! Never did he make us feel welcomed and if the tip had not already been included, he would not have seen much of one! He never checked to see if things were alright or even if we needed anything else! I had to flag him down to get our ticket. Breakfast the next morning was also interesting. When we were seated, no one told us it was a breakfast buffet and from where we were seated, you could not see the buffet. Our waitress was a dingbat. When I asked for a small orange juice, she said they only had it in a glass and did so want that? What?????? I had to ask other people daring about the buffet. They told me where it was. Extremely disappointed in the service at The House and I will never eat there again and will tell others my experience!

It took 40 minutes to get our dinner (2 entrees only). The food was fairly good, but not worth the price. I would only eat here out of convenience at it is in the hotel. Otherwise, take a trip somewhere else.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the food.Everything from the entrees, to the dessert were barely mediocre.Let’s start off with my fried chicken, it was extremely hard and almost impossible to cut apart. My Mac and cheese was overcooked and had the texture like mush. The best part of my whole meal was the side Cesar salad dressing, not the whole salad because the lettuce looked like it was sitting in a fridge for three weeks.Let’s move on to dessert. My favorite cream brûlée! Oh how excited I was for this. I should have known something was wrong when I had to wait 30 minutes for my dessert, but that’s not that baf. The worst part was it was literally a pudding, no where near a cream brûlée. It was bowl of vanilla pudding. That’s it.This had to be the most overrated, expensive, unappetizing meal I have ever consumed.I never write bad reviews but this one was more than deserving.

The dining experience was not as advertised. I ordered the pork belly appetizer. The kohlrabi Brussel salad was coleslaw, and the jalapeños were raw but advertised as fried. My entree (scallops dish) did not have the mushroom risotto as advertised. The food was cold as well. My server was fantastic, but the meal left me extremely disappointed.

Super central location opposite the Hank Williams museum. Excellent menu including local Southern fayre. Service from Terrisha was faultless. Food was delicious and plenty of wine, beer and cocktail options. A little bit pricey but worth it. Would definitely return.
