Best bagel we've ever had. The nova with cream cheese was amazing and the service was incredible. Definitely coming back again. Be sure to grab a cream cheese to go, it is significantly better than what you get at the store.

Hard to find a good bagel place outside of the NJ/NY area. This spot outside Birmingham actually does it right. Though not like a Jersey bagel shop, this is pretty legit. They have a good selection of bagels, all made fresh. The staff are friendly and extremely efficient, so you're not waiting all day for your order (travel a lot further south in Alabama and you'll find that there is no such thing "expedient"). Their menu also has a decent selection to choose from, so there is something for everyone. If you're in this suburb of the city, I highly recommend stopping by. It can be a bit pricey, but what isn't these days, and instead of some reheated junk meal you're getting fresh food. I'll be back anytime I'm in town.

The atmosphere was good and the staff were nice but my bagel was very bad. I figured since it's in the name their bagels would all be really good. I've only been once so maybe it was a fluke but the bagel I got with jalapeño cream cheese wasn't good at all. I couldn't taste the jalapeño at all and the bagel seemed like it was stale. It was supper tough. The shake was good though. I guess I just felt like I could've gotten better food for less at the grocery store.The people with me who got ham and cheese croissants liked them. So maybe it was just a bad bagel.
Friendly and efficient staff is slinging out large bagels. Nothing to complain about and a very good bagel option in town.

Very good bagels with a wide variety of options to choose from. I do wish the menu was a bit more clear about what was available. I was not sure if I could have regular bagel toppings with tomato and onion. Delicious though.

Had a garlic bagel with nova. Tomato was very thinly sliced so it added moisture without disrupting the star (nova). Excellent all around.

First trip to Alabama from NYC and I was quite pleased with the bagel selections. The freshness (still warm) texture and taste of the bagels was good. Service was excellent and will return when back in Mountain Brook.
