ate there last night, had early reservations at 5:45. were told they had a dress code. the gentlemen in my party wore sport coats. as the evening progressed, a group of men came in wearing golf shirts and casual pants. I laughed and asked the waitress about the dress code. come to find out he was one of the owners! then as more patrons came on, sweatshirts etc! it was so loud we couldn't really have a nice conversation. in spite of very elegant decor it felt like eating at an Applebees! Just way more expensive!! we ordered an appetizer, it came with 2 slices of bread. The food was ok, nothing so very special. And to end the evening, the waiter had to be reminded to bring our "take home " And they add extra if you pay with a credit card! so overrated!!

The service, food, decor, bar were all fantastic. It's pricy, but you get what you pay for in an upscale setting with lots of attention to detail. Service came out at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed or slow. The food was the star of the show. We ordered whipped ricotta, magic city mushrooms, and crab cake starters for the table. The mushrooms were on the highlight reel and so ,so good. Pasta course for the table was the pappardelle pasta and the lobster raviolo which were both perfect. We couldn't even pick a favorite. The sirloin was cooked perfectly medium rare and well seasoned. Dessert was the bananas foster cheesecake, which was the perfect ending to a decadent meal. Will absolutely go again and highly recommend.

Our food was very good. The sides are supposed to be large enough to be shared for two. Our whipped potatoes were enough for 1 spoonful each. The asparagus was sufficient. The noise level with the music made it difficult to hear each other (5 of us. The cocktails were expensive.

Extremely poor, inattentive service. The experience does not feel special in any way other than the unique atmosphere which I hope eventually sees something else take its place. We were very disappointed. The food was fine- it's available in most steakhouses however steak selection is limited and their dry aging is not done in-house. We really wanted to like this place and were looking forward to trying it but if experience is important to you, would recommend you pass for something else unfortunately.

Cool vibe, a little loud and dark. Good food. Service was good. Price point didn’t match. $25 for a Basil Hayden Old fashioned with no big ice cube and no cherry. Took about ten minutes for someone to come to our table after being seated for drink orders and several times had to pull someone aside to get refills. We got the focaccia, bone marrow, Caesar salad, pappardelle, and veal chopGet the bone marrow. It was amazing. If you like pasta, the pappardelle was really good. Also the olive oil ice cream was incredible.I would go back for these dishes for sure.Kid-friendliness: Not for kids.

This was our second visit to Little Betty Steak Bar. We tried a few apps, a couple pastas and a dessert. Everything was very good and the service was outstanding!! We will be back to dine again!

Appetizer's and salads were very good. Server was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The dry aged prime NY Strip was extremely disappointing - the thinnest I've ever had. It was no more than a 1/2” thick which makes it almost impossible to cook medium rare without the center being cold, which it was. It also lacked any flavor. A prime strip should be cut a minimum of 1-1/2” thick. Not even close to comparable to similarly priced steaks at fine steakhouses like Perry's, Ruth's etc.

Great experience! The bone marrow and tuna veil were amazing apps. The filet and veal parm were also very good and cooked to perfection and the truffle fries were delicious! I would definitely recommend the banana fosters cheesecake for dessert. You will not be disappointed! Cannot wait to go back!

Great spot for food and drinks. Wife and I had a date night here and the food, drinks and staff were amazing. Caviar was amazing and the bone marrow was the best I've ever had. Will most definitely be back very soon.

Very classy, expensive, and not for the masses. Business casual attire is only allowed to dine in. This place is really, really good.Parking: Park on the street, it's free.

First time dining experience, and it won’t be the last. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Little Betty’s this past week, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. When I say every course was remarkable, it truly was like being on a final episode of Top Chef, where each course is perfectly orchestrated to compliment one another. Our server, Beaufort, was dynamite and a big reason why we enjoyed our time at Little Betty’s. The meal itself, what can I say other than five stars. We went through their Beef Carpaccio, Caesar Salad, Beef Wellington Ravioli and both had the 12oz Dry Aged Bone in NY Strip with a side of Broccolini. We then finished our course with the Bananas Foster Cheesecake and a Carrot Cake. I can say, without a doubt, this is the best dining experience we’ve ever had. If you are looking for that special evening with your spouse or family, this is spot in Birmingham you must go to. Thank you to Executive Chef Kyle Biddy and staff for a truly remarkable evening.

The family took me to Little Betty’s for my birthday recently and it was such a wonderful experience. Our waitress showed immediately that she knew the menu! She answered questions, gave recommendations, and made the ordering process a breeze. I got the dry aged ribeye, the wife got the pasta dish, and my daughter got the filet. We all enjoyed our main dishes. I got the mushrooms to go with mine and they split the truffle fries but to me, the star was the cocktail! I got the “When in Rome” and it was the best drink I’ve had in a while! We finished with the tiramisu and cheesecake for desert!

Food was fine. Nothing to write home about but was as described and good. The tiramisu plate was frozen… which felt a little mall-cafeteria-y.Service was fine but nothing special. The atmosphere was laughable.Generic pleather, gold trim, etc.It was stuffy given the dress code concerns. So much potential, but to turn away paying customers, when your bar is empty, is just plain rude and in this economy, bad business!Bring back Southern Hospitality, not pretentiousness (or get way savvier hostesses, servers, and food!).It’s Birmingham ALABAMA!

We celebrated our five year wedding anniversary at Little Betty Steak Bar in Mountain Brook, AL.I briefly mentioned to them that it was our wedding anniversary on the phone and did not think anything of it. However, they started our evening off with a complementary glass of French wine — such a thoughtful gesture! From there we had our waiter, who was so tentative and descriptive with the Plates and went over all the sections with us thoroughly. We decided to try something new and try the Hamachi Crudo that is under the small plate section. We’ve never had anything like it and it was so fresh and delicious. We moved on to ordering the Caesar salad, which was probably one of the best Caesar salads I’ve had, honestly since we’ve been to Italy. They had these cured lemon peels on the salad that made it unique for a Caesar salad, but it added this pop of citrus to the salad, which was refreshing. For our mains, I ordered the hand cut pappardelle, which was full of flavor and had a little bit of spice to it.The truffle was not overpowering, it complemented the sauce well. Bradley ordered the 8 ounce fillet with the side of the whipped potatoes — which let me add some of the best whipped potatoes I’ve had.For cocktails, after our complementary wine, B ordered the “Don’t Feed The Ducks”. A duck fat-wash Japanese whiskey old-fashioned and I had the La Sirena Di Sicilia, which is a cocktail made with their house made limoncello (if you know me you know I love limoncello?). It was so light and refreshing and then with our entrées we both had a glass of wine. B had the Cos, Cerasuolo Di Vittora Classico and I had a glass of the Domaib Le Bihan, Touraine Sauvignon. (I noticed from the other reviews, saying their pours were light on the wine, but our pours were just right for a glass of wine!)Of course we had to finish our evening off with their Tiramisu & a dessert cocktail to share, a Pistachio Espresso Martini. The tiramisu was delicious & the espresso martini was the best I’ve had!We love to take the quick hour trip up to Birmingham to enjoy unique places to dine and Little Betty will be a place we will definitely revisit! Everything was a 10/10. From the service, ambience, food & drinks were delicious. The only thing I would suggest for the restaurant is to change up the type of music they play. For the type of ambience, Italian style service, and overall dishes they are serving, I would recommend to play some type of jazz instrumental music instead of a mixture of 80s music to 2000s pop.

Good service and ambience great, but somewhat over priced. Recently went to New Orleans to Brennan's steak house, which was 15-20% cheaper, and more food. Example side $11 and enough food for 3 or 4, but little Betty, side $22 and only enough for 1
