Where do I even start?! First and foremost, as soon as you walk in you're greeted by the extremely kind person working at the register! The restaurant is a fast paced, casual, order at the register type of place. Service is super quick! The menu is slightly overwhelming I'll say because even for the DIY Poke bowl, I had such a hard time choosing sauces and toppings! Most of the sauces seemed foreign to me which I think if maybe on the menu they clarified what the flavor is supposed to taste like, it would make it easier for a noob, kinda like me! Overall the bowl ended up tasting delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and will be back as well.

OH MOMO, YOU DIDNT! First things first, this location in Lane Parke, is nearly impossible to find. If you follow the maps on Google it will have you zooming around and around. But if you get out of the car and park near Little Betty steak house, you will shortly find Maro. Maro is owned by the same owner of Abhi sushi, also in Mountain Brook. Both businesses are close to one another. At least in the same city/walkable distance to each other. Both businesses are Asian fusion inspired. Abhi being more chic/classy whereas, Maro is more on the fast/casual side of things. I came here with a friend of mine for dinner. I had heard really good things about this business and absolutely love Abhi. Though, the last time I went to Abhi service was painfully slow. I'm sure I caught them on an off night. When ordering I asked which of two items were better and there was no straight answer given. So I went with a special item and regretted it at the end. It was the Momo wonton chicken noodle soup. Thought it sounded delicious since, I do love soup and I also love momos, but this was way too spicy at least for me. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. The interior is beautifully decorated, service was okay in my opinion. I wish I had ordered something different, but I know better for next time!

The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Sonny.He was extremely polite and helpful explaining the menu. We ordered veggie egg rolls, Beef Bulgogi and MoMo Chicken Noodle wonton soup. Service was exceptional-friendly and fast. The food was hot and fresh. The Bulgogi was cooked nicely with a good flavor. My friend enjoyed the MoMo chicken noodle wonton soup, but she said it was VERY spicy. We both enjoyed the egg rolls. They were nice and crispy, but not greasy. I loved the relaxed vibe and all the plants hanging from the ceiling. The environment was very calm and relaxing and also very clean. This is a great place and sister restaurant to Abhi. If you're in the area, you should definitely give it a try!

Absolutely incredible food! My wife and I got the Pork Belly adobo and the chicken khao soi. Both were exceptional. Our server Sonny was amazing as well, very helpful and energetic. We will definitely be returning and recommending Maro to everyone we know!

Great food and incredible service! The manager, Sunny, was so welcoming from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. I had no idea what I wanted as I have never tried poke before. Sunny was so helpful and did not make me feel rushed at all. He made sure to check in on us even after we got our food to ensure we were enjoying it. Truly the best customer service I’ve received in a very long time! I will definitely be coming back for the food and to visit Sunny again. This place is going on my recommendation list for all my friends!
