Typically great service and food. However, it's ridiculous to have to find out they are unable to fulfill certain orders until you arrive to pick up your food. Not only that, but I have to ask where my food is to be informed they won't make it. It's as though you leave your number and info behind for no reason, because if it was communicated they were unable to satisfy orders, I would have cancelled altogether.

Absolutely LOVE santos, it’s been my favorite coffee shop in birmingham since 2020. Always amazing food, service, & coffee. I do wish they would bring the old syrups back or offer them. The new syrup is not my favorite and sometimes prevents me from ordering coffee.

I absolutely ADORE the Santos Mountain Brook location, I come here when I want to be productive on schoolwork or just to grab a casual coffee with a friend. I prefer the coffee they serve at Santos to any other chain coffee store or local shops, so I am willing to take time out of my schedule to park my car and go inside. Usually the vibes at this particular store are immaculate, conducive to a good environment for my work, unfortunately I may need to rethink what my preferred work environment is after today. Walking in today everything seemed normal, some of my favorite baristas were working and made my drink and food with care, some of the best I've ever had. I sat at the bar to complete some work and as I sat there I couldn't help but be distracted by certain demands, made by who I assume was a higher up or manager. The tone in which he was requesting the baristas to complete tasks was short and commanding which made the environment quite tense. I always feel very welcomed by the Mountain Brook baristas, but today it seemed as if they were doing the best under a lot of stress, which I'm assuming was caused by the higher up who was micro-managing their tasks. It was very hard for me to concentrate on my work when every few minutes a demand was given in a rude tone to some of the nicest baristas. I would love to continue being a regular here, but don't know after today if this is a work environment I can continue supporting.

There are a lot of coffee places in the Birmingham area and Santos is one of my all time favorites (if not, my number one favorite). They have such a friendly and helpful staff. The environment is perfect for getting work done on your own or meet ups with others. Not to mention, they have super yummy drinks and a large assortment of food items.

I am a vegan and a lot of coffee shops tend to have milk in certain sauces or syrups and Guinevere, Mike, and Cael made sure before I even ordered the Cafe nutella that there was no animal products in the mocha and that is something that I really appreciate so, shout out them for looking out!!! 10/10 music

They took over the old chain coffee joint and the layout is pretty much the same but with their own decors. Parking is still a PITA during rush hour, but the coffee is good. You can get coffee beans and have it ground in store.
