I eat here weekly with friends and all of the food and service is always excellent. In many many visits I've never been disappointed. The desserts are also amazing, especially the pies and cobblers! Can't go wrong.

Awesome place! In 2012 we were at an anniversary in Trussville when we first got to try their wonderful BBQ. We've been loyal customers since. They were by Sanie Road at the time. I was so excited when they moved to a building by the old Dollar Family Butcher shop, just 3miles from where we live! And gotta mention they have great vegetables too. I love their black eyed peas.

Breakfast: Service was good.Eggs and grits good.The worst biscuit ever, very dry! It was split which made it more dry.The menu said country ham, but I received sugar cured or “city ham”. (The menu is misleading.)

Best potato salad ever!!!!! Bbq had a wonderful smoked flavor. Sweet tea is perfect. It is rare to find a bbq place with equally as good sides as meat. Can’t wait to come back and try every single dessert LOL. Also I’m so sorry I didn’t realize as my family got there y’all were closing for lunch. But that was amazing service and we didn’t feel rushed! (I really didn’t realize it until we went to leave or we’d have got it Togo!!!) We will be back soon :).

Best local home cooked food around!Breakfast is fantastic: home made hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy, breakfast biscuit sandwiches, eggs.....all delicious.Dinners are great, too! Friday night shrimp is fresh and not frozen pre breaded. The white chocolate bread pudding is the best I've ever had.The staff is super friendly and will know you by name if you go more than once. The space is small and not a lot of searing bit worth the wait.
