This is one of the good BBQ stops that you read about. The Memphis style pulled pork sandwich was dynamite with the right combination of slaw and pork. Fresh hand breaded chicken fingers and plenty of options for sides. Its an established restaurant and will be around based on the traffic I saw coming in during a non-rush time.

Pretty good BBQ. I had the large Memphis and onion rings and they were good! Wifey had pulled chicken and white sauce. Very tasty! Next time I’ll try the fried bologna sammich!

It's an independent Alabama BBQ joint. Seems to be a dying breed.Everything was correct and as expected.

We went tonight and ordered for dine in. Our receipt was timed 5:09pm, I believe. At 5:39 a dark headed young lady came by that had delivered food to another table. I asked her if she would check on our food, it had been 30 minutes. She never came back to give an update on our food. After another 10 minutes, I went to the register to inquire again about our food. At that time she cocked an attitude and told me she didn't know what had happened, she had just came on. They were working on it now. After further inquiry, she said the order had been lost. Never an apology. I was not thrilled, but a simple "I apologize" would have diffused the situation. I then asked for a refund and it was granted. This young lady needs educating on customer service. The food others received looked good, but they won't have to worry with my business anymore.

Normally their loaded baked potatoes are full of meat and much larger. This one had only two bites of meat on the potato. Today I ordered two loaded baked potatoes and two medium bruinswick stews, paid over 32 dollars. The food was good, just the portion was heavily cut back giving you a third but charging you the same price. The stew is mostly liquid. I always looked forward to going here when I visited family. I doubt I will be back anytime soon.
