This place has been around forever and has had its ups and downs in the past, but it has reemerged as one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Everything is always made fresh to order and it's really really good. The Sesame Chicken is top notch. Great lunch prices too. The dining area is small and cozy, so takeout is usually the way to go. Service is fast and prompt, and they do take credit cards now.
I don't eat Chinese food from anywhere but here. There house lomein and their fried wantons with meat not the cheese is to die for. Food was good and good portions but the service was terrible. The lady was on the phone talking loudly the whole time. She never asked for my order so I tried to tell her what I wanted in between her talking. She stayed on the phone the entire time, talking loudly. It may be a cultural difference, but good service etiquette would be to put your personal phone call on hold while you attend to a paying customer. And maybe act like you appreciate their business with a polite expression.
